SOLD!! 1996 Corvette LT4 - 6 Speed Manual
I'm moving out of state, have to sell the car ASAP.
Car is located in Los Angeles, CA /will not pass CA smog/ - it can be fixed easily. CA buyers just shoot me a message and we can discuss.
Car has 91,600 miles. The newly rebuilt engine has only 150 miles on it. Still just being broken in.
I’m selling my car as I’ve to move to other projects. I got the car in April of 2016, did all the performance work and parked it. It’s a 1996 only year of LT4 engines with a 6 speed manual transmission. I was planning on canyon riding so I made some improvements. All the bushings in the car were changed to Polyurethane. Car was outfitted with a cold air intake. The front and rear rotors were upgraded to performance Slotted and Vented ones together with the performance brake pads. As I was going for the best handling, I installed brand new upper and lower arm ball joints for all 4 wheels, new wheel hubs and 4 new bilstein shocks. I fitted the car with nice new rims and Nitto performance tires. To give the car the proper roar, Corsa Sport Exhaust was installed. I overhauled the entire A/C unit and every A/C component in the engine bay area is brand new. A/C blows really cold. The engine is newly rebuilt with around 150 miles on it. Brand new battery installed. I’m pretty sure I’m forgetting some stuff I’ve done on the car. Everything in the car works. I’m asking $XXX for the car, but I’m open to reasonable offers. Paint is in a very nice condition, once waxed, it really shines. There’s a scratch on the front bumper and rear bumper - both can be repainted for few hundred box and you’ve a beautiful car.
DYNO results:
Dyno results at the rear wheels loose around 15% with a manual transmission. I'm going to calculate the HP and Torque at the crank based on the results
Hp at the rear wheels 312.75 - Translates to 367.94 Hp at the Crank
Torque at the rear wheels 328.10 - Translates to 386 Torque at the Crank
The engine is newly rebuilt with only 150 miles on it. A bigger cam was installed as well with a bigger throttle body. /the engine rebuild was over $XXK/
The result of the bigger cam is that the engine light lights up from time to time and it goes away. It could have been turned off at the dyno, I just decided to leave it so the engine goes through the full cycle.
New Radiator
Corsa Sport Exhaust System
New A/C Compressor, Lines, etc.
New OptiSpark
New Spark Plugs with Spark Plug Wires
New Competition Clutch and Flywheel
New Water Pump
4 new Bilstein Shocks
Performance slotted and Vented Front and Rear Rotors
Performance Brake Pads
Brake caliper covers
Polyurethane bushings all over
Upper and Lower Ball Joints
Front and Rear Wheel Hubs with new Bearings
New Nitto Tires
New Rims
Rear Hatch Weatherstrip
and much more I’m sure I’m forgetting
I've most of the receipts. I'm only missing the ones I paid in cash.

Hi guys, sorry I was out of town.
The brake rotors and pads are Power Stop
Throttle Body is the BBK 58mm - the intake was port-ed to match the throttle body as the inlets are smaller, only to accommodate the 52mm.
Cam is a Comp Cam. I'll get all the details from the shop that did all the work in the following days and will update.

Smog laws make a lot of neat cars out there worthless. Half the ones on CL wont pass.

it has a bigger cam, throttle body, cold air intake, Corsa exhaust and I took out all the smog stuff. In California alone a cold air intake will barely pass smog. I can have it pass for the right buyer Haha
