1991 Corvette ZR1, yellow/black, 38k miles, $11,900 obo
Up for sale is my 1991 Corvette ZR-1, yellow with black interior, 38k miles, fully loaded, located in Suffolk, VA. $11,900 obo.
This car is #1289, 1 of 6,922 C4 ZR-1s, 1 of 196 in yellow, and 1 of only 42 made in 1991. Only 38,374 miles (less than 50-miles on tires), 2nd owner, non-smoker, comes with several mods (400+HP), lots of extras, and almost all the original parts. I got the car from the original owner after he wrecked it and had it restored back in 1997. The car has been very good to me. Only notable issues are that the the condenser for the A/C needs replacing (compressor fully functional), one of the rear window defogger wires needs to be soldered back on the rear window, part of the dash is lifting a little where it meets the front windshield, the hood needs some fiberglass work, and the car needs new paint.
I am selling because I don’t have the time or money to keep and maintain it, I have too many toys and need to devote more time to family, so it has to go. The car is priced based on it needing fiberglass/paint, and because I need to sell it before I change duty stations in October: $11,900 obo. Serious buyers only please, pickup only or deliver if local to 23435. PM me with any questions, thanks!

Pics make it look better than the ad sound...I bet it sells to the first guy who shows up. THat is a great value!
Hell, Id leave the paint just as it is and put 100k on it. Id jump on that right now if I could, love a good deal on a car you can actually use or leave outside!

On the suspension, we replaced 2 wheels, there were one or two rear spindle rods that were replaced, and we think the engine cradle's front upper control arm mount on the right side got torqued about 1/8 to 1/4 inch because it took a couple extra shims than we thought necessary to align the front right wheel. Because of that, I bought a new engine cradle, but never got around to replacing it. The new engine cradle will come with the car, but make no mistake, the car drives perfectly straight. The dash was replaced due to scratches from the windshield glass as well.
Other than the couple of suspension fixes and the windshield pillars, all the damage was body/cosmetic. The drivetrain was 100% good to go, and we actually drove the car down the road after we made those few suspension/wheel fixes. Had to wear glasses because of no windshield, but she ran like a champ.
Note that out of all the bodywork that was done, the only part of the car that I wish could have turned out better was the hood. I think the new hood we got for this car came off another car, and I suspect the stress/surface cracks and paint issues on this hood are probably the reason why it came off the other car to begin with. If I were the buyer of this car I would have the hood pulled and either fully restored by a body expert, or replaced entirely, which might be cheaper, but I'll leave that up to the new owner to figure out. Other than that, the restoration turned out really well, and it's been 20 years since then, so can't complain.
Hope this helps.

Just being as transparent as I can. Also, just want to reiterate that the car has a CLEAN and CLEAR title. Only the CARFAX has a log of the accident.
