It's a beautiful looking car... Maybe too nice for my intended purpose. I am looking specifically for a 1991, the last year with the 250 HP engine because I plan on racing in a stock class series at the Area 27 track in British Columbia where I am a member. The series has a limit of 250 HP stock out of the factory. I want a car that has a relatively fresh engine and stiff enough springs / sway bars to handle well around the race track. Your car seems to tick those boxes nicely with the Z07 and low miles but it's almost too clean a car to think about racing with.
Seeing as you listed this car quite awhile ago now, can you tell me anything more about the car? Recent servicing? Any current issues? Change in price?
Thanks

Great question. Purely for sound preference. It is my belief that all C4s should have Flowmaster exhaust systems :-)

I knew you wanted to track the car. I just had a feeling. I did the same thing with a 95 that I owned and tuned the suspension for perfect balance. I had amazing track days with that one. This car is my father-in-law‘s and I am helping him sell the car. I doubt he’s ever driven it 100 mph. So the engine is extremely fresh. He is a short shifter by nature, so the revs are low as well. Neither he nor I know of any issues that are worthy of discussion. Frankly, the worst aspect of the vehicle is it’s poor FM radio reception. But I doubt you’re going to care about that. Yes, the car is extremely nice and even I would feel weird racing it, but the car is not perfect. For example, it has the standard kick up rash low on the body behind the tires. Your call.

Last year the brake fluid was changed and the coolant flushed & replaced. I probably should change the oil & filter even though it has few miles. If the weather permits I’ll do that next week.
