1986 silver/black orginal doug nash 4+3, Dana 44 w/ 3:73's & glass top roller
<<<<<<<<<<<<SOLD>>>>>>>>>>>>>
What: (1) 1986 coupe roller w/ a clear Illinois Title, Dana 44 3:73 and complete suspension and brakes are still there. It is a roller in the truest form. ONLY the motor/clutch/trans have been removed. everything else is there from the coolant system to the Dana 44. I'm not interested in parting out the car at this time. ( logistics, I live out of state)
Where: in between Belvidere & Rockford, Illinois. Area code 61008. Easy access off of I-90 just south of Illinois/Wisconsin border. It can be viewed at any time.
How much?: The first buyer to bring a trailer and $2k gets it.
Details & key parts
-1986 silver/silver leather original Doug Nash 4+3 car w/ tinted roof panel
-missing motor/trans/driveshaft assembly & exhaust.
-Dana 44HD in a desirable 3:73 ratio
.-complete engine harness
-complete cooling system
-complete interior ( partially disassembled)
-complete rear glass hatch assembly
-all body panels are intact
-doors are complete with glass & actuators
-headlamp assemblies are complete

I would love to restore this. I would also love to have the seats for my 86. Completely understand why you don't want to part it. If I had the room for another restoration I would be very interested in the car. I wish your father and your family the best.

I wish I had the time to part them out. If I can arrange for buyers to come while I'm there, I'll do exactly that. I may be contacting some of the Corvette recyclers/resellers in Illinois and selling everything at once.

UPDATE: Car has NOT been sold. I have the title in hand and will be able to show it to any perspective buyers from while I'm in town from April 11-14th. I have another dismantled 86' road race / auto-x car, along with MANY C4 parts for sale ( TPIS mini ram, 383 cu in L98, CNC L98 heads, Leather seats, wheels etc..) available.
PM me or just call and we'll set up a time to meet.

i would go with a tow vehicle/trailer. THAT would be a LONG push. ;-)
seriously though, Id part it out and scrap whats left over before I towed it anywhere. Just too many cars and not enough time for me.
on the upside, it can be picked up at any time. theres no timeline pushing the sale of the car.
