I think it's a coupe. I was always under the impression that it was called a "hardtop" when the top can come off, but I was wrong as has been pointed out earlier. I actually should kick myself for selling it for 18500, where the blue book on a coupe is 20500.
The color is pewter or champagne, whatever its called.

The Blue Book is lower probably because the initial price was lower. The market dictates what the FRC cars are worth and from what I can tell a FRC will fetch more $$ than a coupe - similar year and miles.
Good luck though!

Was just looking at these two posts where you had some concern, wasn't sure if you figured out if it was the shifter or something more...

oh yeah wow those are old posts. The Hurst shifter has two little screws on the sides for the tension or something, I just messed with them until it was alright. Nothing is wrong with the tranny; I installed the stock shifter to test if there was something wrong and it shifted fine through all of the gears. It was my understanding from reading threads on here that more oomph is needed when using the Hurst. I think I was expecting for the thing to shift like an s2000...
Before I decided to sell, I was thinking about going to get the new z06 shifter. I heard it is money and shifts great. I never really liked the feel of the hurst shifter, I've heard from alot of people you either love them or hate them

I am in the market for a C5. You might have all ready said but how bad are the scratches on the drivers side door? Can they be waxed out? How's the paint? Is it fading any? Looks like the plastic peace thats around the CD player is popped in right. Looks like there is a good size space there. Let me know. Thanks

The scratches can be seen in those pictures before, they arent that bad. Really can only notice them from certain angles. The CD player thing, yeah your right, never got around to fixing it completely, never bothered me. When I purchased the car it was like that.
