Default 2001 Corvette Z06 Blk/Blk 61k 15,999 O.B.O. Easy Fix!

Hey everyone,
We've got a nice easy fix for sale, an 01 Black on Black z06 with 61k miles, Bone stock with light damage to the front. The frame rails are not touched, only damage is to the front cross bar which is purchasable through GM and an easy change. Its not even bad enough to replace if you are handy with metal you can fix it and make it work..Good airbags, cars interior is mint! Runs and drives, no damage to the suspensions, cooling, or any of the engine accessories. There are scratches on the right rear quarter from transporting, Both Fenders are good, all you will need is the left inner fender, hood, front bumper and foam, and headlight! We have almost all of that in stock! We are not a body shop and do not fix these cars, however we often sell easy fixes for someone on a budget, especially if you can do the work yourself!

^^It would be illegal to drive this car on the road until it was fixed and inspected.
I can arrange shipping anywhere for a good price however.

Why would an insurance company total out a z if there is only 3k -4k needed to fix the car? That makes absolutely no sense. Even if that car had 10k damage, that car would definitely have been fixed by the insurance company.

That's what I'm thinking. Why?

Did the airbags blow or are they "good" because they were replaced?

I heard that a vehicle that has a salvage branded title is typically worth about 50-60% of it's retail value? Plus some insurance companies won't insure them? Is this accurate?

I can sit here all day and argue, the point is none of us can control what a insurance company does, we get cars totalled that have spray paint and a few broke windows on them, we get cars like you see on our website that rolled down a hill caught on fire and landed in a salt water lake that come trough as clean titled. We did not replaced the airbags on this vehicle, this vehicle was cleaned, broken parts removed, and pictured as it is now, please dont leave these negative suspicions until you come down and see the car yourself, we arent running a scam here we are offering rebuildable cars at a fair price because you guys cannot buy them from the auto auctions like we can unless you have a salvage dealer lisence.

Lets here some offers. -Tom

Because they have to use new parts and they are more then 3K or 4K.

The fix is not that bad, left inner fender would be the toughest part of job as they are glued on.

Price is a little more than I would pay due to high milage and that you can pick up one for around $22K unblemished.

I have bought a bunch of parts from them too and they were as described, no unpleasant surprises.

Man what is it with people on this forum and the C5s that makes them feel compelled to **** on a sellers thread! If you're interested in a car join in, if you want to spout about a car you are never going to buy anyway then shut up and move on!.
