Default 1999 C5 with 115,000 miles question

Is $12900 too much to spend on a 1999 C% with 115000 miles? Is 115000 considered too many miles period? Thanks.

I don't think 115,000 miles is too much in its own right. There are many more things that go into a car's life than that. More important are service records etc. than miles necessarily. 12,900 doesn't sound too out of line but you know, what options, color, clean title, condition of interior and exterior, care etc. all factor into that

I haven't see it yet, except for photos, but the listing states it was GM serviced, black color, looks nice.

One forum member ran his up over 300,000 miles. Then gave it to his son!

If otherwise the C-5 is in good condition, with those miles, good price.

I wouldn't be scared of the miles, but I wouldn't call that a "deal" at all. My buddy just bought a 2000 coupe with similar mileage that had a lot of tasteful mods for $10700... and the car is mint, looks like a 50k mile car and runs great.
