Did you put the C5R block and build in that car or was it done before? I seem to recall you saying that you did the build on it before.

It appears that the OP copied and pasted the original FS post that he bought the car from 2 years ago. According to that post, the C5R block was installed already.

Yes, but the OP told me that he built the LS motor when I asked for build data on it.

FYI...I am not trying to "call out" the owner, just get the exact build data on the car and who did the work. That is important when you figure you are buying a highly modified car.

Supposedly the car need a MAF and a good open loop tune to go with. It is drivable right now but running rich.

Any news on the questions above. There seems to be a whole lot of information circulating about this car.

I have heard, after contacting people in the original sellers thread, that the current owner did not build the motor but he did break it with a bad tune. Seems that is why the motor was pulled and needed a new piston or two.

Buyer beware until the owner wants to come in here and start telling the whole truth.

Wow......ok where to start.

I bought the car from taz (the poster in the paradisecruisers forum) and drove the car around for a while. At some point a fuel injector went bad and cause the engine to run lean and a lost a ring land on cyl 2. I took the engine apart and put it back together with new CP pistons and while i was at it put a new cam, heads, rocker arms, and pushrods in the engine. Well in hawaii there are 0 tuners that are able to tune this car so it basically sat for a good year waiting on a tune....finially i got sent from hawaii to texas where I had the car sent to Quality Motorsports in Dallas to get tuned and anything else it needed. I told them to take their time and get it tuned right so on and so forth....well after they got it running and working and to where it is now I had someone tell me they wanted the car so I had the car cleaned up and ready for them...well they backed out....

So after talking to the shop I realized I didnt have the money to get the tune done any better because of the time it would take to really make it streetable without any sensors for feedback to the ECU....so i went and picked up the car from Dallas and drove it to San angelo. It did the drive fine and worked great the whole way....but it is still a high HP car with a large engine and big cam...so could be better....but it runs and drives fine....i have not done a single WOT pass or even gone WOT cause i just want/need to sell it and have gotten to the point with this car that I am afraid of something stupid breaking (IE an injector clogging and killing 10k in parts)....this is why i say the tune is not perfect. I dont want to lie to anyone who buys this car or is looking to buy it.

This car is not perfect as I have told ever person who has taken the time to PM or Email me, but I have adjusted the price quite a lot compared what a perfect c5r zo6 with 13k miles would be worth....if your not willing to buy a car that I can not promise is 100% perfect than spend 10k more and get one that someone has finished. Any more questions?
