FS 98 Corvette C5 with procharged LME 408 730+hp
98 corvette C5 6 speed with a supercharged LME408 stroker motor, kooks long tube headers with x pipe and borla stingers cat back exhaust, McLeod RXT Street Twin Disc Clutch, Tick Performance Remote Clutch SPEEDbleeder Line, Spec flywheel, MSD boost a pump, 42 pound injectors, Locking header bolts, two aftermarket gauges for fuel pressure and boost, and lowered on stock bolts. The car also has a roll cage and five point harnesses the car has not been raced when i bought the car with the stock motor the owner had the roll cage and harnesses in it. I put the motor in which is a $10,000 motor built to handle up to 1000rwhp and the supercharger that was a $7,000 setup. The car is in good condition with 750+hp on low boost. It has only 54k on the car and only 1k with this new motor and supercharger. The motor was sent out to LME and rebuilt about 1k miles ago and ran me $4,500 this motor is freshly built and the clutch was just put in 350 miles ago. Have receipts for everything. Also the car has brand new front tires on it and the rears have about 90% tread. Recently i put in a new wheel bearing. The car doesn’t have the tire pressure monitors in the wheels but i do have 5 of them that will go with the car when it sells. The miles will go up some since i drive the car on weekends.
Here are the details on the motor and supercharger;
LME 408 engine
408" Iron Balanced, blue printed and assembled short block.
Eagle 4.0" crankshaft
Lunati Pro Mod 6.125" I beam rods
Wiseco 4.030" custom forged pistons w lateral gas ports
ARP main studs
ET Performance 245cc CNC ported cylinder heads.
Ferrea 2.080" int. 1.600" exh. valves
Comp 977 dual valve springs
Titanium retainers
Cam Motion custom LS1 camshaft 238 249 114lsa
LS1/ LS2 Billet Main Caps
Cometic MLS head gaskets 4.085" x .051"
ARP 1/2 LS1 head studs
Roll master double roller timing set w/ torington bearing & nitrided gears.
GM LS7 hydraulic roller lifters
LS1 push Rods Comp cams
LS1 windage tray/ picup tube
Melling 10295 high pressure, coated oil pump/ ported
Procharger 6psi of boost 7k(installed) •
P-1SC-1 ProCharger with patented self contained oiling
• The industry’s most effective and highest flowing intercooler system for C5 Corvettes
• 7+ psi, 55%+ HP gain on stock LS1
There are a few cosmetic things with the car that could be fixed
1. The glass top has the normal c5 problem with the clear coming off a little bit.
2. The back bumper has some light scratches in it and a small crack.
3. Driver’s seat has some normal wear for a 98 put a picture up for you to see.
These are the only problems with the car. Mechanically it is great with no problems I took the car on a 14hr trip about 800 miles the car ran and worked perfect wouldn’t be scared to drive it across the country. On the trip I still got around 22-23 mpg with having 750+hp that is defiantly a plus. Other than the few little things that I have mentioned the car is in really good shape. I’m sure there are some other things that I have forgot to mention that have been done to the car it is fully built i have seen the same motor from LME with a different blower setup that put down well over 1000rwhp. The car has great drivability and handles like it is on rails. The only reason I am selling the car is because I am looking into getting a diesel truck so i might entertain offers to trade for a newer 4 wheel drive diesel. Give me a call at 315-244-8956 with any questions or you can shoot me a PM on here and I will get back asap. Thank You

I might also entertain offers of trades plus cash let me know what you have really looking to get a truck but there are a couple other things i might consider let me know what you have and maybe we can work something out. I dont have to sell the car so please dont offer me junk or low ball me on the price i know what i have invested into this car and what it cost to build a car like this.

The trans and diff are stock and I have had no problem with this setup I have talked to a few shops about it and they said that if I’m not running slicks at the track I will have no problem with the power I’m pushing. I haven’t ever brought the car to the track and just use it as a fun weekend car I had no plans to drag race the car. As far as the bottom end I don’t see how you would say its stock when it is a completely built motor built for handling 1000rwhp when I’m only running around 650rwhp since it is only at 8psi of boost the way it sits right now. Running 5psi the car put down 602rwhp on a low reading mustang dyno but I haven’t had it on any other dyno’s to figure out what it puts down on a dynojet but I know they are consistently 10% lower so you can do the math. As far as the trans and diff if you planned on drag racing it you would probably wanna look into upgrading these but if you want a fun weekend car that you don’t have to worry about then this is a great car for that.
