F/S: 2002 Black/Black Corvette z06 w/434ci LSX, 19” CCW, 18k miles, etc…(DFW, TX)
Basics:
2002 Z06 Corvette w/ 434ci LSX iron block
Black with Black Interior and window tint
Tires in very good shape
HUD
18,120 miles
6 Speed
Clean and clear title in hand(2nd owner, previous owner was a friend of a friend)
Excellent condition
Located in DFW, TX
Reason for sale: Purchasing a home
Price: $30,000 with z06 wheels or $32,000 as it sits.
The car will come with about 50 pages of maintenance records and receipts.
I have attached multiple pictures, a detailed write up, and also a walk around video of the car below.
I hate to post this car up for sale, but the truth be told…I never get to take the car cover off the car and actually pull the car out of the garage and enjoy it!
The car was built with some of the best parts on the market(as you will see).
I built my dream car and wanted it to last and not have any issues suddenly arise because of inadequate parts or installation error.
I can assure you, if someone does purchase this car, you are going to get a very well built and taken care of vehicle.
The car has never been raced on the track or on the street.
If the car does see the sunlight, we are usually just attending a local car show.
I have never driven the car in the rain.
There is very little wear and tear on the interior or the seats.
The car is a great everyday driver with ice cold AC and drives great on the highway with more than enough power!
I can’t say enough about this car because I truly love the car, but I just feel that I could use the money elsewhere at this point in time.
A little background on the car…
The car is a two owner car and I purchased the car about a year ago from a recently divorced firefighter from Arizona who had similar philosophies whenever it came to maintenance on their vehicles. This was very important to me when purchasing this car, as I had to know that the car was taken care of the way I would want it treated.
The only downfall to the car is there is one small scratch on the rear of the bumper about an inch long that was on the car whenever I purchased it(I can get close up pictures, if need be).
It is not very noticeable, hence why I never got it repaired.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to post up, PM me, or email me at LCUGraduate@sbcglobal.net
Thank you for looking.
Information about the car…
Engine(434ci LSX built by the best around…HKE in Houston, Texas):
The motor only has about 1,500 miles on it.
I think I spent right at $13,000 for this motor to be built, plus installation.
There are no cheap parts in this motor.
The motor was originally a 427ci(4.125), but was then bored .030 over with brand new pistons and runs flawlessly(increasing the displacement of the motor to 434 cubic inches).
If you would like to conduct a leak down or compression check, you are more than welcome to come over and I will help you conduct these tests on the motor.
LSX Block($2,000 iron block)
Callies Compstar Crankshaft(4.0)
Lunati Billet Pro Mod Rods(6.125)
Wiseco Pistons(4.155, 8cc)
Melling LS1 oil pump HV #10296
Wiseco GFX Piston Rings
ACL 5M7298H-1 Main Bearings
ACL CB 663 H Coated Rod Bearings
Cometic Head Gaskets(4.75 Bore, .045 thick)
TEA Trick Flow 235 heads(68cc chambers)
Yella Terra Ultra-Lights(1.7)
Manton Custom Pushrods(11/32nds, .120 wall, 7.555 long)
Cam Motion Custom Grind Camshaft(253/263, around .630 lift, 113+3)
Fast 90mm intake
60lb Motron injectors
LS2 Throttle body
8.5 MSD wires and spark plug boots
Greddy oil catch can
ARP everything including ARP headstuds
Meziere Electric Water Pump(street version)
ATI Super Damper
Compression on this motor is 11.40 to 1(the motor was built for pump gas) and drives very friendly on the street.
The motor is speed density tuned by Simple Quick Racing and runs great in any climate and put down right at 540rwhp through the exhaust.
The car does have a lifetime tune though Simple Quick Racing.
Since the cut outs were put on, I have not dyno’ed the car.
Drivetrain:
Stage 3 Texas Drivetrain Performance Clutch kit(Lightweight 15lb Billet Chromoly Flywheel and brand new Slave Cylinder with Throwout Bearing, and Stage 3 Clutch)
(This is from TDP’s website regarding the clutch… Stage 3 - Ceramic/metallic. This clutch setup was developed with focus on brute strength. It will handle hard clutch dumps, as well as lots of abuse on the street and strip. It is very streetable for what it is, but it works like an on/off switch. If you've never driven a car with a clutch like this, it will take a little getting used to. As far as chatter goes, you will see zero to maybe 2 on a scale of 0-10. If you do get some chatter, it tends to get better as you put more miles on the clutch, during the 500-mile break-in period. Rated at 700HP.)
Fuel System:
Racetronix fuel pump kit and upgraded wiring harness
Wheels and Tires:
19” CCW 505A’s(19 x 10 in front and 19 x 11 in rear)
Nitto Invo’s(Brand new front tires, 2 sets of rear tires)(275/30ZR/19 and 305/30ZR/19)
Exhaust System:
Kooks headers(1 3/4ths) with high flow cats
GHL Bullet catback exhaust
Dual DHM “Low Profile” Electric cutouts(these are truly awesome!)
Misc:
MGW Billet short throw shifter
MGW Gripper shift ****(chrome finish)
Lowered on extended front and rear aftermarket bolts
4:10 gears
Cross drilled and slotted rotors all the way around
Brand new Optima Blue Top Battery(deep cycle)
Red LED Raptor shift light
Custom 427LSX z06 emblems
C6 z06 427 emblem
Z06 Carbon Fiber Air Bridge
Vararam VR-B2 ram air intake
Corvette Frame Savers/Underguards
Corvette Front Bumper Savers/Wheels
Lloyd’s front and rear mats
Corvette trunk partition with storage compartments and drink holders
Front black outs
6000k HID headlights

My last street car was 780rwhp through an auto(TH-400) w/ 4:10's.
You respect the car, it respects you.
Thank you both very much, I appreciate the compliments.

If you sell the car without the wheels, I want dibs on the wheels. Cash in hand, let me know when. I am PICKY about wheels and for 6 months haven't seen something I like. I like your fitment and the appearance, plus my car is black so I know what I'm expecting. Let me know.
Watched the vid too...man, that car sounds ridiculous. I have an LS7 sitting at my house that I was holding for something. Part of me wants to go C6Z next year, but part of me wants it in my C5Z...tough decision. C5Z with that sound coming out is awesome though.

The car can go from ridiculous to mild with the flip of a button(electric cutouts).
The video was made with the cut outs open(of course).
I thought about purchasing a c6 z06 or building this car and I have never regretted the choice I made.

Joe and Michael just left my house south of Houston. It's a beautiful car and they seem thrilled with it.

Hi Justin, We made it home. Michael and I would like to thank you for your Texas hospitality, it was greatly appreciated. Your car ran perfect. The oil, temp, etc. were perfect, never moved. The car was tight, no noises or leaks. Every time we stopped for gas we checked for leaks, not one. I appreciate your honesty in the representation of the car and the way you conduct business. It was indeed a pleasure. Please say hello to Granny, Suzie and Buddy for us. Once again it was a pleasure meeting all of you. Joe and Michael
