2002 C5 Z06 - Street/Track/AutoX Car - Dallas TX $18,000
I am listing for sale my 2002 Z06 with ~90.600 miles. I've owned it since July and been to the track with it twice, for a total of 2.5 hrs of combined track time. I'm selling because I've decided I want to have a project I can work on everyday, so I'm going to do an E36 M3 with an LS3 swap.
Car is FS for $18,000. Title in hand.
Clean Carfax. VIN is 1G1YY12S625124983
The car has been outfitted pretty thoroughly for track use with high-quality parts and has always been well maintained in that aspect. The car has been well taken care of on maintenance, fluid types, or any care otherwise taken with the car mechanically. The car has no CEL, and has a current state inspection sticker.
Car is located in central Dallas, near Northpark.
The car includes a binder full of receipts, and has also had a bit of maintenance work done (door control modules, replaced weatherstripping, etc) in its recent history. The paint is probably the only downside to the car, as the clearcoat has been showing slight wear around the edges/near badges. There's also one patch on the passenger side door about 2" big where some clear coat came off when old stickers were removed. See pictures. Interior is in great condition and exterior looks in-line with a car with this mileage. Wheels have ZERO curb rash.
The seats are in great condition and a Brey-Krause harness bar is included. The car has full HVAC functions as well as working stereo and full interior carpet/headliner. Also included is a spare driver's-side door card and a spare driveshaft.
The car is very capable, and very quick in the right hands. The previous owner passed 500hp C6 Z06's on Hoosiers during track days (obviously this is very driver-based) - keep in mind this car is on NT05 street tires. The best times he saw were a 1'25.9 at MSR Cresson (1.7 mile, CCW) and 1'45.4 at MSR Houston (2.8 mile, CW).
