Default Is $26500.00 too much to pay for a2001 vert

Hi
I have a chance to buy a Torch Red 2001 C5 Vert with 7200 miles for $26,500.00. The car is loaded, with Premium sound, Heads Up display, Chrome wheels and more. It has the original tires.

Bit much, you could be in a C6 for that.

Or a sweet low mile C5Z06 03/04

Way too much. The items you mentioned are standard on most vettes. New tires are going to cost you big $$$. Twelve year old tires may not be too safe (even with good tread) to drive on at highway speeds. Haven't seen the car but I'm thinking $22,000 at best, really good tires could run upwards of an extra $1000 or more. Add tax, title, ins..... Keep looking. The right one will come along at a much better price! There's some nice ones here on the CF.

The tires alone will add a $1,000 to the price, you might want to look around a little more.

It depends. Is it an auto or a manual? Standard suspension, selective ride or Z51? Interior or top color? All of which would determine its rarity for those finicky vette people.
This would be like asking is $100k too much for a 67 coupe without knowing its options.

Wasn't yours a "Z", with tires that were not original 10 year old tires?
Congrats on the sale... Did you get a new one?
