9 Second 98 in NC
I'm sure most of you reading this have seen the car. I just bought the car not even 4 months ago. I had a left ankle fusion surgery which is gonna set me back a few grand, so I can't finish the car the way I had planned. I've driven it to the track and ran 10.0's with it, and drove it home. This is not a garage queen vette. It was simply made to be a quick street/strip car. Here is a list of what's done for the most part. I'm asking 16,900 for the car b/c it does need a little cosmetic tlc. Took off the door moldings and the color is off, took some of the paint by the back of the drivers door. SERIOUS inquiries only. Over 14k into the car not including the car. Text me for pics or more info. I'm in a cast at the moment so if you want to see the car its located in Youngsville, NC just north of Raleigh. I'm not on here much now that I know I'm selling it so please use the number and text me! Also have been driving it a bit the past few weeks so the mileage will go up and continue to until sold as I like to drive the car when I can.
1998 C5 Corvette white/black interior.(originally tan) Built by Mayhem Motorsports. Carpet was sorta dyed when I got it. I took the carpet out as I was going to put new carpet in. I do still have the carpet it's just you can tell it was dyed tan to black.
Stock bottom end 6.0l
Trickflow CNC 215 heads
Custom Grind Camshaft
LS6 intake
ARP headstuds
longtube headers
Powerstick mufflers with Borla style tips (have dual magna flows and real borla tips as well)
Level 5 RPM trans
Vigalante 3600 stall
SFI Flexplate
SFI underdrive pulley
Stand alone fuel system with Aeromotive A1000
NOS direct port system and purge
Edelbrock progressive nos box
Line lock
M&H Drag radials
16in Weld draglites on rear
15in on front. Rear calipers are used on the fronts to allow clearance for the 15" wheels.
The factory tan c5 seats are in rough shape. I'm including a set of black aftermarket race seats that recline. A4 copies they look like. I'm taking out the corbeaus that are in it now or add 750 to the price.
Also included is a set of black c6 z06 replicas 18/19 setup with nitto invos with plenty of tread.
Made 475rwhp on motor and 675rwhp on spray. Best pass 1.37 60ft 6.23 @114 1/8th mile. P.O.
My personal best was 10.06 @ 138mph 1.5 60ft
Clean title. 16,900obo. Text 919 600 4046 - Nelson
Motor had 80,000 miles when put in Nov 2011 and might have 3000 more miles on it now.
This was when I was bringing it home. Since then the Pillar has been wrapped in black vinyl by bullitt auto, and the rear lights have been blacked out using film. More pics to come.
Here are some cell pics. Excuse the mess of a garage at the moment, and sorry for the pic quality. The paint shot is the drivers door after molding removal and a little wet sanding. It's def the worst. Passenger door isn't nearly as bad. Also this is the street wheel/tire combo that comes with the car. All of the blacked out lenses are film, and are removable, and the vinyl behind the roof is removable as well.
Below is a link to my walk around vid from this morning.

Whoops sorry!! Forgot to add that. They are just rear calipers bolted on to the front. I do not have the stock front calipers if anyone is wondering. Stops the car just fine trapping almost 139

It's a factory 3.42 diff upgraded output shafts (stub shafts) whatever you want to call them. Not sure of the exact ones I'd have to get it up in the air and look. Either way at 13,500 it doesn't matter lol
