FS: 1998 6 speed black/black 43K miles
***********SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!************** ***
The time has come to send my C5 to a new home. I just don't drive it anymore, and that isn't what these cars are about. I am the third owner and have had this car for 9 years. I hold the title to this car. It has a spotless CarFax that I am more than happy to provide. The details:
1998 Coupe
Black/black
43K miles
6 speed manual
Glass top
dual sport seats
automatic climate control
12 CD changer
C6 Z06 shifter
polished wheels from an '04
Also with this car:
3 volume factory service manuals
2 sets original keys & fobs
original sticker (laminated)
cargo mat
car cover
Chevrolet C5 brochure
VHS Corvette overview tape
I even have the original C5 pen and note paper that usually disappeared quickly
Always garaged, and never driven during the lousy Chicago winters. When the salt hit the road, this car hibernated. Oil changed every year with Mobil 1. Never raced on the track or at a drag strip.

Type and condition of tires? Any electrical issues? Warning lights? Any DIC codes being thrown? I assume no rust on frame or underside. Exhaust type ? Paint condition in terms of chips, etc. ?
Thanks. Dave
And thanks for posting window sticker. Makes assessing the car easier. Looks beautiful.

Tires are Nitto 555 NT 555. They are in great condition (7/32 rear, 8/32 front) but they are old (all have date stamps late '05.) No electrical issues. No warning lights. No DIC codes being thrown. The underside is rust free. Myself and the other two previous owners never had it in the salt. This car has spent its entire life in a garage, usually under a cover. Exhaust has been returned to the stock catback. Paint is good, with some small stone chips and a little bit of "sandblasting on the nose. Also has a few scrapes on the lower nose which are common in these low riding cars.

To all military members, past and present, thank you for your service and sacrifice. And thanks to the military families - who also give so much. Thinking of you all today.
