WTT 1990 ZR-1 for 02-04 Z06
Want to trade my 1990 ZR-1 for similar mileage 02-04 Z06 Red,Yellow, Black, 01 SW Z06.
My car is priced at $26,000
The 1990 ZR-1 21k miles. Red on Red.
This car is completely original with the exception of Goodyear GS-D3 2010 date code replacement tires, and 2014 AC Delco battery.
AC is still R12 and works great, everything on the car works just as it should. I fully expect the car to pass NCRS performance verification with flying colors.
Injectors have been changed to new FIC stainless, which are ethanol acceptable, coils, fuel pumps, plugs all new. Originals come with the car. Basically put the car is well sorted out and can be driven across country if one wishes.
Seat bladders have been replaced and the pumps rebuilt. Last year all of the Bose Equipment was rebuilt. The problematic C4 issues have all been addresed.
The oil cooler lines have been replaced with NOS and were recrimpped prior to installation.
This car is ready for a national show and is a perfect candidate for NCRS Crossflags Award.
It just recieved NCRS Regional judging in Charlotte 2015 with a Top Flight 99%. It is a Cross Flags candidate and that has always been my plan with the car.
The car has two different chapter NCRS Top Flight awards in late 2014.
Simply put the car is beautiful and has everything with it.....no games like most....everything. Stickers, pizza box, extra lug nuts, both tops, window stickers, build sheets, No excusses period.
Many pictures if someone needs! http://s304.photobucket.com/user/bro...?sort=3&page=1

I'm surprised at the price as well but it is a FINE example for sure.

While a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay, this ZR-1 is worth the money
My 1990 ZR-1 is insured with NCM for an agreed value of $25K. Mine is in very nice condition, but it isn't an NCRS top flight car. (I also have 50K on the clock)

that said more than a few 40-50k mile 02-03 z06s have sold for this money

TJ,
Fortunately/Unfortunately I had an opportunity to acquire another ZR-1 that I had been chasing for years.
I've owned several z06's even buying one new in 2002 with an R8C. You are correct they are both great in their own way.
If the ZR-1 moves so be it, if it stays in my collection so be it.
It's time to add another car to my garage that can be driven and enjoyed, the ZR-1's are collectors.
