Corvette choice
Looking at 2 torch red C5 corvettes. Both are same price: Both are 6 speed.
1st one- 2002 with 4 owners 38,000 miles. Black interior, loaded with heads up display, 1SC package, 6 disc cd changer, polished aluminum wheels, Z51.
2nd one- 2004 with 1 owner, 18500 miles, Tan interior, 1SA package, no options, has after market wheels, came with painted aluminum wheels, but no longer there.
I like the 2002 better, but 2004 seems to be a better value.
Both in great shape.

With spring approaching, they are confident it will sell.

If you like the 02, go with your heart. And I assume the 04 doesn't have the Z51 package? I wouldn't let the difference in mileage scare me. I would go for the one that will handle better, and that will be the 02.

04 does not have Z51 package. I also have more headroom in the 02. I am tall, the 04 headroom is tight.

Personally the main thing I would look at would be which interior color do you prefer, that's where you will spend the most time. IMO red on tan makes our car look like wanna be ferraris and black is classic vette, at least the way i see it anyway.

2 years newer and half the miles is a big difference in resale if you decide to sell. Also the 04's had much less issues with valve springs. What do you like about the 02? I'm thinking just the cooler look of the black interior and better rims?

Well it's your call but I'd probably go for the newer lower miles because I kind of like the light oak anyway. Got pics of it?

04 comes with Original sticker.
02 does not have original window sticker.
How about the options, you think 1SC is worth much more than 1SA. Heads up display, polished alum wheels, telescoping wheel, memory seats, etc.
