1999 FRC Blk, 102k Miles - $10.5k
For sale is my 1999 C5 FRC Black/Black with 102k miles. I recently moved from GA to MI and the vette has been tucked away in the garage under a car cover since the drive up here.
The Good:
- Runs great, no issues with any electronics
- Interior is in great condition; only issue is a small tear in the driver’s seat
- Mild Mods:
o BBK Throttle Body
o Z06 Break Vents/Ducts
o C6 Z06 Shifter
o Drilled/Slotted Rotors
o Lowered on stock bolts
o Shorty headers
o Column Lock Bypass
The Bad:
- There is a drivetrain vibration issue (feels like you’re driving over rumble strips when under load). I believe it’s the torque tube bushing, not positive though.
- The bottom of the passenger front fender is cracked.
The Ugly:
- Paint is not perfect, it is a driver
o Paint bubbles on the rear decklid
o Chips on front bumper
- Front driver’s side bumper intake grille is missing
She needs some work, but she has always been reliable. I’d keep her, but unfortunately the current backlog of car projects necessitates a thinning of the fleet. Fixed Roof Coupe so it would make a great track toy/weekend cruiser for someone. Clean title in my name. I have had numerous requests for pictures of the flaws, so I am posting them up here. In order there are the deck lid bubbles, the tear in the driver's seat, and the passenger side front fender crack.
