Default 2002 Supercharged Tiger Shark Coupe - 38K miles--$22.5K

For Sale 2002 Corvette Coupe, 38K miles (currently). $24,500 $22,500
This is a 2 owner car. Original owner was a forum member who did 99% of the modifications to the car, and I purchased from him in 2012 with 24K miles on the car. Over the last 5 years I've enjoyed the car for back road cruising and commuting on fair weather days. The car is in great condition and needs nothing to be enjoyed. Perfect for a spirited cruise and turning heads as is. My favorite thing about the car is that it's different enough to be unique, but remains classy and not over the top. The only reason I am selling to make room in the garage for a '68 Camaro that has been in my family since '72, I'll hate to see this car go, but couldn't sell off the Camaro. The car is in Katy, Tx (near Houston).

Here are more details of the modifications to the car-
Exterior:
Paint does have some rock chips on front/hood and behind wheels from highway driving but otherwise in great shape. Car has never been wrecked and always garaged (including with original owner). It has never seen snow/salt/etc. as it I purchased from original owner in New Mexico and has since stayed in the Houston, Tx area.

Drive train:
Car was last dyno tuned by ProSpeed Performance Engineering (formerly D3) in Houston Tx. to conservatively produce 509 HP and 512 Ft-lbs with 8lbs of boost. Could have gotten a bit more aggressive but wanted to assure long life of the stock bottom end. File of receipts in hand for the majority of work performed on the car.

Interior:
Here's the pic's and video:

Yeah I should have been more clear, there's currently one walk around video in the PhotoBucket link, I'm trying to get two more shorter ones in now as well, but having issues.

May try another site to host vids -- anyone got suggestions? I used to use Photobucket but it appears to become a pain with pop ups and issues (that I'm sure go away with subscription, but I don't use it often).

Okay but i don't do Photobucket.. the darn pop ups and advertisement won't let a person even look at pics

You can always post video's on youtube.com and post your youtube link on here for us to view the videos

thanks

Oh yeah. . YouTube. . I've heard of that. . . . . . Thanks for the suggestion to pull my head out my rear and use the most obvious site!

Here are three walk around videos with the car idling:

There is a tight RPM band at really low RPM that I notice a little resonance, but not an issue. Usually have only noticed it when in gear and slow a bit in traffic and instead of shifting have just spead up slowly from really low RPM. Doesn't happen often or regular because when in the "proper" gear you're above that RPM. Hope that makes sense. The simple answer I suppose would have been no to the drone.

I'd never seen a Tiger Shark kit or MCM hood in person when I purchased this car either-- just had been spending years drooling over the pictures of others cars on here. When I was ready to buy and it came available I jumped on it and have not been disappointed in the least!

Thanks Gordon!

To anyone looking, you've got a 2 owner car with both owners on the thread and forum members. If you have questions ask. He was nothing but transparent when I purchased and I'm committed to doing the same!

Car is still available for sale- for any non local buyers, I would be willing to meet near either Houston airport if flying in and driving home is something you're considering (I did the same to save shipping, personally inspect, and have a nice road trip when I purchased).

Also- price is negotiable -- incase there was a question.

Thanks- Colby

C5 car cover with logos included in the sale. (In my case, keeps the dust off if it's going to be in the garage a while).

Well, I just realized inspection is due this month and registration next. Still not in a hurry to sell, but would rather not mess with it if someone is on the fence.

Price reduced to $22,500. Have some extras that will go with the car as well. Contact me if you have any questions.
