$ WTB $ - Conv - Black/ or Red ~$15K
Hi guy,
Looking to buy a convertible (Red or Black) interior (Black preferred). Mileage no more than 50K.
Great condition, mods Okay, good service history, all mechanical & electrical stuff in working order.
Most cars for sale are jacked up in price - I understand it's your pride & joy - but if you're serious about selling let's be realistic. I prefer a California car, but willing to travel for the right car.
Thanks!

Of course you're on the other coast! I have what you want, except about to turn 63k miles. Triple black '99, light bolt on mods, tuned, 18x10.5 gloss black with polished lip C5Z reps, a few cosmetic mods like Z06 screens, smoked front corners with LEDs, and a few other little things. Needed to get a little more than $15k.

That's funny. I actually said, looking to buy a convertible (not C5) I'm open to C6s & C7s also... But remember my requirements, as mentioned in the original Ad -- under $15K for the right car.
I know CF members are married to their cars, and they hold high value in their "own eyes". But let's look at the market - recently on Craigslist I've seen some deals where 25K - 34K miles cars going for $12-$15K, that to in SF Bay area, the most expensive in the nation.
However, my first Corvette was bought from a CF member over 13 yrs ago. And I've been a member here for over a decade - hence my search on CF. I'm not a newbie anymore!
My C5 got into a very bad crash last year, you can read my posts; but I'm ready to get back in one again.

Tons of them; and ironically, they're RETAILERS, means they have to bare the over head of business, etc. Buying from a private party, we typically expect better deals. Just saying....
