Low Mileage Electron Blue Z06
Hey guys,
Looking for a new toy again. I test drove a C6 Z yesterday and aside from the motor, was a little disappointed. I think its time for another C5 Z. I am okay with stock and I am okay with mild mods (bolt ons and mild cam okay), but I am not currently interested in fully built or boosted cars.
My budget is open for the right EB Z, but it must be on the low mileage side (would prefer sub 25k miles).
I am open to traveling for the right one. I think that I have seen all the EB Z threads currently posted, but maybe I can help tilt the person on the fence to put their car up.
I am ready to buy and do not require financing

Edit: Yeah pretty much the same inventory as on autotrader/cars.com. This one looked like the winner but I spoke with the dealership yesterday and it has already sold

There are the two with 22k and 24k miles, but that 12k mile car got me wanting something a little less

Nice Corvette too bad it sold.... this is the one i wrote to the dealership about and i'm interested in but the mileage shows 38,000 and some change on the pictures but the listed mileage in the ad is 22K miles.
Oh i see the mileage is in KM so not a US car probably a Canadian car
I can't figure out how to find the for sale link but its at this dealership below in MO.

The one that sold had a carfax of about 36k, yet the odometer showed 12k. I would guess human error but still unnerving.

Where are you located? I have had two Electron Blue C5’s and agree it’s an amazing color. I currently have a quick Silver Z for sale with 10k miles. I can tell you if you could see the car in person it looks just as good. Was hoping the small chance you were close to Indiana.

I am in SW Florida but am willing to travel for the right car and will be moving to NC in a couple months. You know I have never looked closely at a silver c5z, but I think my heart is set on that lovely blue. I have started to think about increasing the search to include 04's, but the stripes would have to go... that is probably sacrilege to some.
I always see nice cars for sale in the Indiana/Illinois area, you guys have your priorities straight.

Agreed, the mods are nice and would be a great starter for someone looking to do a little more. I just came back from Charlotte a couple days ago too. Wish it had a bit less miles.

You know what that's probably a mental thing and frankly overrated. I'd rather have 25K or 35K and a well cared for pampered car than a 4K mile example that sat for years without being exercised. These cars are practically bulletproof except for normal wear and tear items, brakes, tires, etc. I guess if you could find a 15K mile example for $3K more you could possibly justify it. It's your money in the end but to buy a low mile car and then keep it a low mile car and fret over every mile you put on is silly too, just like paying more for something you really aren't gonna use anyway. I'm picking up a near flawless EB Z this Wednesday with 39K on it and couldn't care less or feel better if it were less.
I was originally looking for a low mile Quicksilver, but many owners think these things are made of gold and they're frankly 16-17 year old cars worth roughly $20K in really nice shape. I stumbled on this particular heavily modded supercharges EBZ and couldn't be happier. Looking forward to the 11 hour drive home.
Good luck in your search, I'm sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for.
