Looking to buy my first vette, I am 54 years old and it's about time I get one, if I can. I would like to get one that's supercharged, I live in Texas and can drive 700-800 miles away, if the car is further, I can have it transported if I need to. I am hoping for around 16,000-17,000, I sure could use some help, thank you��

Not saying you won't be able to find one, but you may end up travelng further than you hoped

Also, understand the fact that a super charged C5Z is going to have a lot of miles for that price, so be weary of the condition and consider whether or not the SC is worth it to you

Thank you very much for your advice, I will definitely keep that in mind as I'm hunting for a z06. Kinda sounds like I need to get a stock z06 and do the work myself.

Yeah just a friendly heads up!

Or find one with the typical "tasteful mods" like exhaust and headers and cam and such. Smaller things! Then you can find a nice one that'll last

Sorry for not getting back sooner, 425hp-450hp. This new setup hasn't been dynoed, a stock ls6 gets 405hp, so I'm guessing with the heads/cam would bump it up to that amount. Thanks,L8R ZFLASH

I finally found me a z06, not supercharged but, I got it cheap enough to do the work myself. 2004 z06 with btr stage 3 cam, 89000 miles,. Some flaws, but what can you expect for 12200...😁 lots of plans when I can afford it as I go,,, but i'm happy, my clutch sticks, I think this happens to most c5 z06, thank ya'll for all your help, Thank you Mr. Corevttewill, your guidance lead me to Craig's list where I found this car, great job😊😊😊
