Low-Mileage 2004 Black/Black C5 Z06
My requirements:
-Exceptional condition (exterior, interior AND mechanically)
-2004 year ONLY
-Under 30k miles, but the lower the better
-Black exterior with paint in flawless condition
-Black interior, no mod red interior
-2 owners MAX, but I prefer a 1 owner car
-NO accidents or undesireable history (no floods or theft history etc)
-Clean title in hand
-Documented maintenance history
-Very little to no mods (column lock bypass is ok)
-Stock argent colored z06 wheels
-Prefer new tires but the original goodyear eagle f1s are OK as proof of the car having had an easy life thus far
I am willing to spend UP TO 27k CASH, but that is only for an ultra low-mileage car that meets EVERY criteria.
I am willing to travel up to 1250 miles from Southern California.
I am not interested in anything less than a low-mileage 2004 black/black z06.

Hey Drew, how's your car search progressing? Your criteria stated above is a little tight, but not unrealistic. You might open up your travel distance and, maybe, include '03's again. $27k should buy most anything out there if you can find it. There was a flurry of low mileage (sub 10k) beauties that were advertised on the forum last year, but I haven't seen nearly as many recently. Try contacting some old "for sale" ads via an archive search and see what might still be available. Stay diligent in your search and you'll find it.

Funny you should say that 27k should buy most anything. I think so too but the pictures I have in my original post are from a immaculate '04 z06 with 4k miles that the guy wants 35k for!! That's low mileage c6 GS pricing! That's even decently low mileage c6z money! It's crazy. I feel like it's the one but not at 35k. Even 27k is a stretch for me but it's justifiable. And for 27k, I want the best of the best c5zs available! It has to be an '04. I also agree that this year has been rather dead in terms of finding low-mile c5zs, unfortunately..

He's not likely going to get $35 for that car, so let the car sit for awhile, then go in at 27-28k. There's very few C5's trading hands over 27. The premium is all in the low mileage and it disappears quickly if you intend to drive much. That may or may not matter. I've got what you're looking for and paid $29 four years ago. It still sits with mileage under 4k. I'd unlikely be able to resell for 29 and that's ok. Keep looking and you will find your blk/blk '04Z.

There out there I lucked out and found and bought forum member fastcops 04 Z.
2 owner 22k miles for $23k. Still smells new never in the rain garage queen.
Original rims came with car.

I saw man thanks, its had like 4 owners which is a huge turn off for me. They've also had some salvage title z06s in the past. Idk if they're getting them from auctions or what but I'm pretty turned off from that dealership.
