BMW S1000RR for C5 Z06 6-speed
I have a 2011 BMW S1000RR in Motorsports color with ~6400 miles with quite a bit of work done to it. I am the original owner and I value the bike at $16k and would like to trade for a C5 Z06 6-speed, but I'm open to other offers.
What's been done to the bike:
Full Yoshimura R-77 titanium exhaust
PAIR Valve blockoff plates
BMC race air filter
Bren Tuning ECU flash with dynamic mapping (max RPM increased to 14,500)
Saddlemen's gel seat
HeliBars TracStar handlebars
Throttlemeister cruise control bar ends
Ilmberger carbon fiber fender w/ BMW LED blinkers
Watson's flush mount front LED blinkers
Alpha Racing quick turn throttle
MRA tinted windscreen
Antigravity 8-cell light weight battery
Bitubo steering damper
Ported head with high compression gasket
Degreed cams
Chromed swingarm
Custom machined aluminum swingarm spacer
Custom machined front ABS sensor ring
OEM rear ABS ring machined to fit ABM Peak Evo floating rear rotor
OZ Cattiva Forged Magnesium rims (lighter than BST) w/ Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tires
DID ZVM-X 520 chain conversion
Full Ohlins R&T forks and shock, sag set for 175 lb rider
Full floating Brembo T-Drive rotors
Pazzo Racing forged aluminum brake and clutch levers
Wunderlich carbon fiber tank bag
Bike makes 184 hp, 79 ft-lbs of torque at the wheel in Colorado. I have over $14k in aftermarket parts alone. Bike is in like-new condition. It needs nothing...set the sag to your weight and ride. I have the title in hand.
Thanks for looking,
Jason

Very nice bike!! Oh how I miss my GSXR1000...I love my vette but there's nothing quite like blasting through the twisties on a well sorted sport bike. I would love to put this in my garage next to the vette!!
Free bump for you!!

You look reasonably tall.
How is the riding position for a guy about 6'?
They do make one nice bike.
The reason I ask is I tried to sit on my buddy's Panigale and could barely get my feet on the pegs in the riding position, very tight at the knees.
Then again, I am a touch older and don't move quite as well as I used to.

I'm about 5'9 and I feel like the stock riding position is fine for me. They do make adjustable rearsets which you could use to lower the pegs but even at the stock position, I can just about scrape the pegs while cornering so I wouldn't advise lowering them unless you aren't going to be doing some decent cornering on it but at that point it doesn't really make sense to own the bike. And it really is a nice bike. If you're really interested, go visit a BMW dealership.. they allow test rides without even being a sneeze away from signing over your soul for it and the newer Gen 3s (this one is a Gen 1) are supposed to be a massive improvement. Just my .02.

Sweeeeet looking bike. Just to clarify: You have $14k in mods alone and value the bike at $16k?

Sorry for the late reply. I'm 6' even and the ride position is great. Not too aggressive, not too relaxed. I routinely ride to Walden which is a 4 hour drive up in the mountains and have zero issues. When I ride with my buddy who has a Panigale...we have to make several stops so he can stretch. One thing to note, I have the HeliBars installed which decrease the downward angle of the handlebars. This makes riding in an upright position a lot easier, yet you can still tuck behind the tank when you want. By far this was one of my favorite mods...night and day difference.
Man, if I were just a bit younger, I'd be all over that bike!
