2002 6-Speed AFR H/C Coupe with new Tires and Clutch
For sale is a very stunning 2002 C5 Corvette 6-speed manual coupe with all options and mild modifications. This car has the Z51 sport package, option group 2 (the highest package with dual climate, fogs, memory package, heads-up display, power pass seat, power telescoping wheel, etc), and the clear roof option, as well as the optional T56 6 speed transmission. The exterior color is quicksilver metallic, and interior is black.
The car is one owner for 94,500 miles (me) and includes both key FOBs. Clean title is in hand. Carfax supports this and it was in one low speed right front accident in 2005 involving no frame damage but front bumper cover was replaced. All documentation is included as well including the dealer tag. The car has nearly new Michelin PS3 tires and a brand new clutch. The 2 most expensive wear items are both fresh.
Modifications were done to keep the car fun to drive on a daily basis yet keep up with competing modern cars.
Mods:
- AFR 205 heads with comp 224/228 cam and all supporting upgrades (injectors, springs, tune). The car makes 430whp. These engine mods were done in 2005 and have been flawlessly reliable.
- Vararam intake, dynatech ceramic coated LT headers with high flow cats (test pipes included), and Z06 titanium catback exhaust. The car sounds amazing, but not over the top loud.
- Z06 front swaybar, Bilstein Sport shocks, lowered 0.5", aligned (specs included), chassis tunnel plate
- 3.15 rear diff from RPM transmissions, LS7 clutch NEW (7/2018) from RPM transmissions, Tick Adjustable Master
- Dewitt upgraded radiator with oil cooler
- Z06 Front Screens, PIAA 1100x Fogs, Custom Catz HID headlights, chrome rear "Corvette" letters, C6 shift ****
- Hawk HP+ pads (amazing), SS lines, and Mcloud brake master.
- Mallett 396 10"/11" forged wheels with Michelin PS3 tires in 275/35/18f and huge 315/30/18's out back. Plenty of grip.
Condition:
- Paint 7/10. There's some rock chips from highway miles and a 4" tear in the LF fender down low. Not perfect, but as you can see in the photos it looks quite nive overall.
- Interior 9/10. Excellent outside some expected driver seat wear and some loose stitches on driver seat L bolster.
- Mechanical. 9/10. It does currently have a slight oil leak which should be fixed before sold. The car runs very strong. No electrical issues and AC is strong. No diagnostic codes outside those expected for the tune/no precats. The tires have 500miles max on them. The clutch has maybe 200miles on it.
The car has had mostly dealer maintenance since it had an extended warranty to 72k and a close friend was the service advisor. As a result all preventative work was performed as recommended. I have loved this car and always kept it in top condition.
Price: SOLD

Oops, missed an important detail. $17499.
Reason for sale is that I've just started driving it less over the years in good part due to life/kids/my M5 having heated seats.

Always tough to pin that down since it depends on how you behave, but I'd get 32-33mpg stock on long cruise trips. The same trip after the injectors were upgraded for safety would get ~28. Around town I've seen 17-23. The diff really didn't change much, since the car has such tall gearing OEM. It has roughly OEM Z06 ratios now. I'm sure long term cruising at 80+mph you'd lose some mpg in 6th. I hope that helps.

Do you have any photos of the tear in the fender? What part of IN are you in?

I'm sorry, I guess I can't see it. Must be a good thing! Also sorry if you listed your city already, not trying to be a bother.
Id like to look at flights and insurance cost before going further, but I do like your car! I'd be skipping on the red interior, but the price is right and the mods are nice.

No problem. It's down really low behind the RF wheel. Nobody notices it out and about, but I like to disclose everything. The interior is black.
