Default 99 T-88 Turbocharged C5 Blue 33K miles Louisville KY

Here is your chance to be top dog at any cruise in, car show, or dragstrip. This car is truly amazing and will turn heads, draw crowds, and drop jaws, with its immaculate condition and unbelievable performance. This build started with a pristine low mileage Corvette, and had no expense spared in the transformation into a 1000+ horsepower street beast. Here is a partial list of the major components that went into this build. I am not the owner or builder of this car so I'm sure there is much more that I have left out.

Engine: 6 liter GM iron block, bored .030, Callies 4" stroker crank, works out to 408 cubic inches. Diamond pistons, forged and ceramic coated, Callies Compstar H beam rods, fully balanced rotating assembly. Custom turbo grind Comp cam, Comp lifters and push rods. ARP bolts and studs throughout. Heads are ETP 255's and topped with an LS7 intake.

Turbo Components: Precision T88 turbo, twin Tial 46mm wastegates, Tial 36mm BOV, Spearco air to air intercooler, manual boost controller with custom bent stainless hard lines. 3.5" exhaust split into dual outlets.

Drivetrain: RPM built 4l60E with all upgrades available, 10" custom TCI converter with full lock up. 3.42 Motive gears clearanced for racing, Carbon fiber driveshaft, DTE differential brace, Hardened output shaft and axles.

Fuel system: ECS package, 95 Lb Acceleronics low impedance injectors, Versafueler converter, Factory ECM with 3 bar MAP, tuned with HP tuners.

Safety: Wolf 5 point roll bar, powder coated finish, 5 point safety harness with cam buckle, fire extinguisher.

Wheels and tires: CCW Drag package, Rear 11x16 with 26x11.5 ET Streets. Front 5x16 with Bias ply street tires.

Miscellaneous: Nitrous express boost chiller, Zeitronix wideband gauge with peak hold, Prosport electronic boost gauge with peak hold, Electronic fuel pressure gauge. All HP tuners interface cables.

This car is very streetable, will start, idle and cruise with no issues, and has had a current retune for pump gas and boost levels up to 15psi. At higher boost levels and on C16 race fuel, the previous owner claims the car has run 6.0's @122mph in the eight mile which equates to 8.90's in the quarter. With only the pump gas tune, the car is truly an animal and makes more power than can be used on most street surfaces.

So if you are not the owner or builder of that car, what is your reason for posting it here? Here are the forum rules concerning selling Corvettes and commercial posting.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...eir-parts.html

1. Commercial Sales
All Sales threads should be placed in a Sales section, i.e. Cars For Sale, Parts For Sale, unless posted by a Supporting Vendor. Supporting vendors pay for the considerable bandwidth charges on the Forum, making the site free for the rest of us. In exchange, they get the privilege of using the Forum to market and promote their goods and services in all of the generational sections and the General Corvette Topics sections.

Vendors are restricted to having just one sales thread on the first page of a two-day directory in the sections where they post. The exception is that they can have up to four threads on the first page of a two-day directory in the Vendor For Sale sections. Supporting dealers are not limited in the number of threads they can post in the Dealer Inventory section so long as those sales threads list a car in their inventory.

Site users are permitted to sell a maximum of two Corvettes on the Forum during a rolling 12-month period so long as the vehicles were acquired for personal use and not for resale. Exceeding that limit will be considered commercial sales and will require the seller to become a supporting dealer/vendor.

Only supporting vendors can post Group Purchase threads.

Site users sometimes list Corvettes for a friend or relative who is unable to market and sell the car for themselves for some legitimate reason.

We tried a revision to the rules to allow those listings to take place without the need to get prior approval from an administrator so long as the threads disclosed the circumstances of the nominee sale and stated the role they would play in resolving any post-sale disputes.

It hasn’t worked as it has created a proliferation of people offering Corvettes for sale for a friend or relative who declare they will take no responsibility in resolving post-sale disputes. That’s potentially harmful to site users, so we are reverting to some of the previous language.

Going forward, those listing cars or parts they do not personally own must make this clear in their sales thread, posting:
  • The circumstances regarding why the owner is not listing the car
  • The role the thread starter will play in the sale
  • And agreeing to participate in trying to resolve any post-sale issues.
Threads failing to address those points will be removed by moderators.

Potential buyers should be aware of who the actual owner of the car or parts is and who would be responsible for potential disputes before proceeding with a purchase.

Those listing cars or parts they have no affiliation to, just for the interest of other Forum users, should specify "no affiliation" in the thread.

Non Supporting Vendors are not allowed to sell vehicles or parts on a consignment or paid basis.

All vehicles listed by a user, regardless of whether they own the vehicle, will count towards the "two in a rolling calendar year" rule unless they are "no affiliation" listings.

All vehicles listed for sale on the Forum, unless sold by a Supporting Vendor, must be titled by the current owner. No "title skipping" allowed.

Sometimes site users offer to sell parts of many generations or in a large volume that makes it impossible for administrators/moderators to reasonably determine they were originally obtained for personal use, rather than resale. In these situations, admins and mods will use their best judgment in determining whether the sales are considered commercial. The decision of the admins/mods is final.

Supporting vendors pay for the considerable bandwidth charges on the Forum, making it free for the rest of us. In exchange, they get the privilege of using the Forum to market and promote their goods and services. Historically, we allow them to post in the generation sections and the regional sections to market and promote their products/services.

Forum members are welcome to sell a Corvette or Corvette parts they purchased for their own personal use. They also are welcome to use the Forum to purchase items for their personal use. Anything else is considered to be a commercial sale or a commercial purchase for the purpose of re-selling. Please check the sales rules regarding eBay sales and links:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/foru...eir-parts.html

Site users are not prohibited from mentioning it when they have a good or bad experience with a non-supporting vendor. Such mentions can include a link to the vendor’s site so long as the link appears to be posted to help a fellow site user and not as marketing and promotion. If these posts are viewed by moderators or administrators to be commercial promotion (by a vendor, affiliated party or un-affiliated party) they may be deleted. This decision is based on many criteria and may differ based on the actual moderator or administrator who makes the judgment call. These posts may be deleted solely at the discretion of corvetteforum moderators and administrators.

Only supporting vendors can post Group Purchase threads. Only supporting vendors are permitted to post threads to gauge interest in a product.

Members can include a mention of their personal businesses in their signatures or posts so long as the enterprise does not compete with an existing supporting vendor, is not Corvette-related and is not so detailed (logos, address, phone number, e-mail address, offer to send contact information via PMs, etc.) or so frequently appended to their posts that it becomes inappropriate marketing and promotion. The same applies on references to other Internet automotive communities.

For details and pricing on the site's supporting vendor program, contact the advertising team at Internet Brands through this link:

Sorry about that, I just quickly glanced through the classified fourm rules. A close friend of mine has asked me to help him sell his car. He does not have a profile on the forum and is not very knowledgeable about cars or using the internet and may not be able to answer many inquires about it. I have done the majority of the maintenance and repair of his car since he bought it, and have a better understanding about the car than he does. I can assure you that I am not in the auto sales business, and that I am a Corvette enthusiast owning 3 C3's at the moment and previously a red C5 in my avatar. I understand that this may be within a grey area of the rules, but we would appreciate you allowing the listing to remain.

Thanks for the reply, but there is still one thing that needs to be clarified. Please state whether or not you agree to participate in trying to resolve any post-sale issues. If you do not, then the thread will be removed.

Looking forward to hearing from you on this. Please respond by 7:30 pm on 9/10/18.
