PRISTINE 03 Z06, Low Miles, $20k of Upgrades
Selling my 2003 Z06 50th anniversary edition with 10,500 miles as of this posting. The car is absolutely pristine. It looks like it just came off the assembly line. The only discrepancy from the photos is that I just put the stock seats back in and removed the LG motorsports GT2 race seats. They're for sale if you want them I have records for virtually everything except the cams. Two previous owners. Car is located in NYC area. Car hasn't been tracked in two years. Tires are Nitto NT05. Selling because I want a 2019 ZR1
Here is a list of upgrades:
- Aluminum flywheel with 2900 lb pressure plate
- Exedy HD Clutch
- Fast Intake Manifold, 90mm
- APE heads and LG cam -- no specs on the cam as it was done by previous owner, but it's aggressive and has typical traits of a cammed car (idle, cold start, etc.)
- LG Pro Headers with cats
- Stock C6 shifter (feels and looks really nice)
- Full dyno tune for head and cam performed by ECS -- 488whp @ 6800, 435 lb-ft @ 4950
- Brey-Krause Harness bar
- Simpson Harnesses (stock belts still in car. If you upgrade seats, you can use either belt).
- Johnny O'Connell Signature Suspension Package Stage 1
- Complete GM LS7 oil cooler kit
- Dewitts A97M Radiator with Dewitts Aluminum Fan Shroud (2-12' Fans)
- New Red Top Battery
- New Rotors and Race Pads
- Front brake spindle ducts
Comes with front and rear tow hooks, clean CarFax, and two sets of keys. $26,500
Price lowered to $24,000. Car is located in NYC area.
Will update with more photos soon.

So honest opinions here. I know it's forbidden to sully FS threads with price commentary, but I'm hoping mods will allow it since I'm waiving my right to have that protection.
Is this overpriced? If so, by how much?

C5 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
With all due respect, it's priced about $5K too high, for me to seriously consider. It would cost at least another $1,500 just to ship it to me, here in Texas.
I really like the car though, just too high for my budget. GLWS

I would say with 10k miles, it is priced just right. You may have to wait for the right buyer, but how many 10k mile 2003 Z06 are there out there for sale? Less than 20 in the US, I would bet.

As someone who has been shopping around for one of these I will throw in my .02. When looking for a low mileage car a big consideration is the appearance of how well it has been kept. I would rather have an immaculate 25k mile car than a 12k mile car that isn't quite as nice. So that being said, for me the engine mods are fine but looking at the pics the first thing that I notice are those bright red tow hooks. If it were me, I would make the car outwardly look as clean and original as possible and you can always throw in the track car bits to sweeten the deal. The new owner can always put them back on but you don't want to give the impression that the car has been ridden hard and put away wet. I think your price is good if the car drives as well as a 10k mile car should. I like the car and silver is understated and is my favorite color on these but it presents as a car that has been run a little hard and could use just a little detailing work to be exceptional.

I appreciate the feedback! Nothing personal. I’d rather know why people aren’t interested than hear crickets.
I bought this car because the condition is immaculate. It has been tracked a few times (not by me), but tracked doesn’t necessarily equal abuse or poor upkeep. Full service records are a good indicator of the level of care an owner takes. I honestly just thought the tow hooks looked cool, but I understand how it could send the wrong signal.
I priced it as is because I believe there is someone, much like me, who would want to immediately perform all these mods anyway but save a few bucks and headaches and buy a car as is. Not a Frankenstein car, but just a low miles car that’s ready for some high performance driving.
But the enthusiasts don’t seem to be responding, so I’ll drop the price to $25K.
Any additional feedback is WELCOME. Hopefully other sellers can learn something from your feedback as well.

Beautiful car! One consideration is that most lending institutions won't loan above NADA appraised value. You're closer with $25K, but still above NADA value. To your point - I put together some cash to add to a loan for my car because it was the exact car I wanted. Might just take a little longer to sell... Good luck - it's a nice ride!

I know this is the most overused statement of the century, but I don’t want to sell. I just know this car belongs in a great home and I am buying a C7 Z06 anyway.
I just changed the air filter and cleaned the MAF and OMG. Idle and drivability improved greatly.
Per request, i will add some video of startup and driving and better photos of the interior.

It may be worth it if the car is perfect. I think theres getting to be a break point for these cars at about 20k. Like another said you may just have for the right buyer to come along. I would suggest car shows and events as a good places to showcase you gem. About 3 years ago i bought a torch red '02 z06 with 11k miles that was perfect with few mods [intake, dealer installed 3.9 rear, ls1 edit tune and Nitos. Paid 28k, knew it was high but fell in love with car at first site. To me well worth it. GLWS.
