2001 Speedway White Z06
I completed the build of this car in October of 2018 with the intention of keeping it forever. The build was approached as no expense spared to deliver what I believe to be the perfect combination between driver and track toy. The history and story are long, and I am happy to take the time with interested parties. In the meantime, here are the notable particulars:
2001 speedway white C5Z06
70,XXX miles
The Go:
6.0L LS2 w/ 1k miles on it
GM ASA spec cam
C6Z06 manifolds
Custom X pipe
Custom Borla Atak catback (modified to dual center exit)
CMS tuned car by Ryne
Upgraded upper and lower shifter by TMOD customs (amazing!)
C6Z06 shocks (1k miles on them)
2-piece big brakes (rear enlarged rotors)
SS brake lines
Tick Performance speed bleeder
Tick Performance slave (GM)
C6Z06 OEM clutch
Aluminum flywheel
Exterior:
Lowered on C6Z bolts
Factory wheels (powder-coated gloss black)
New Michelin tires
Light tint on side and rear
Modified front license plate cover with vent into intake
LED tails
Smoked license plate / reverse lights
Interior:
Partial mod-red interior (seats only!)
Double din w/ bluetooth
Shifter / ****
Hard wired V1 detector
Pictures:
I am probably missing parts and some details but this should give you a picture of the overall car. My circumstances changed quickly and I would like to sell the car to someone who will enjoy it as its intended. I have an entire book documenting my build from August to October. Everything was cleaned / painted and installed. Car runs amazing and the tune is spot on.
Asking $22,000. Car is located in 92679 and has a clean CA title in my name without any funny business.
Many members on here know me well, or know the car and can vouch.
Happy to discuss in greater detail with buyers via phone or direct email.

WOW this looks amazing
I see a tow hook and a track map decal, so how much track time did this beast get?
Did you mod the shocks/springs?
How loud is it ?
Thanks
Paul

I can talk on my phone while driving via the Bluetooth, but if you lay into it she wakes up pretty good. This catback is something like $1800 so no drone as its well engineered and the part I updated was purely for looks.
Hope that helps!

I really like the way you did the center mounted tips. My car has GHL bullets w/dual tips and I want to do mine, like yours.

The car was street tuned as I didn't / don't care about dyno numbers and focused on drivability and safety of the motor. I'd estimate in the low 400's to the wheels based on the displacement and cam selection, but that really depends on the dyno used.

That sounds conservative. I built a similar LS2 but did put in a 4 in stroker crank and it was very reliable at 500 rwhp. I expect yours is in the mid 400's.
I never understand why people take a late model blower Z06 and try and track it. First if you run it hard there is a lot of $ invested to turn into a pile of scrap. Second it has serious heat problems due to the blower. Third it likely is not as fast as a well sorted NA C5Z or certainly no faster. Add that to the fact that the best handling Corvette I have ever owned particularly at 10/10ths on a track was my 2001 Z. Must more neutral and tossable than either my C6Z or my C7Z.
GLWS, looks like a great car for somebody that wants to enjoy some track time.
