2004 Z06 54xx miles, stock in IA
For sale: 2004 Z06
Price: Asking $26k/best offer
Color: Millenium Yellow
Interior: Black
Miles: 54xx (may go up a couple this week for oil change)
Condition: Excellent
Modifications: aftermarket splash guards
Title: Clean, in-hand.
Paintwork/body damage: None
# of owners: I am technically 2nd
Location: Waukee, IA
Description: I am selling my 2004 Z06 with just under 5500 miles. The car is mint, and is all stock minus the aftermarket splash guards which are the low-profile guards. I recently traded my 2002 Viper ACR for this car, but a recent change in jobs and the purchase of a new home means I need to downsize the stable until I have the time to enjoy toy cars again. This means I would prefer outright sale, but some trades could be considered.
Located in Waukee, IA.

Interest in your 2004 Z-06
Hello...
My name is Gerd and I'm an old guy down in Citrus Hills Florida... I like your car! I've been on this forum since '97 although my credentials don't show it... most of the time I've just browsed.
I wouldn't be able to pay your asking price be certainly could make you a market based offer for it.
I have a few questions for you. I'd be interested in the ownership history. I'd like to know if the factory recall was completed on the front subframe bolts, as well as the column lock. The last one is easy, if you can turn the steering wheel after you shutoff the vehicle you are all set. Has the CAGS (1-4) gear shift been disabled, or tuned out? Has there been any other tuning on you car? Lastly, what's the date code on your tires? Have they been changed out or not. Old rubber will preclude me from flying in and driving it back and add the expense of new rubber and a car carrier for transport. Lastly can you provide the last 5 number of your VIN, or the month year of assembly?
I'm looking forward to your response... thank you!

Hello, Gerd.
CAGS is still there, there has been no tuning or modifying of any kind to the vehicle. I am not aware of the recall, I will check it out when possible. I am also unsure of the column lock recall. I will have the dealer check and get back to you! As soon as I get you all of these things, I'll send them your way.

Hello Brian...
I probably get 40 to 50 emails a day... so really don't have a clue as to what the problem may be.
My email AD is ghenjes@gmail.com … be using it for years?
Anyhow try again here... or go there, I'll be in all of Sunday afternoon and evening.

I checked the status of the messages, and it appears they never went through. They have some error messages attached. I will re-send!
