2002 Mag Red Convertible - Modified
2002 Corvette Six Speed being sold by the original owner located in Rhode Island. Car currently has just over 42,000 miles on it and is modified from stock using only high-quality parts. No corners were cut in the parts selection or installation. Heads, oil pump and FAST intake were all hand worked by Tony Mamo of Mamo Motorsports (formerly of AFR). Timing set was one of the last available Cloyes setups with the IRL (Indy Race League) timing chain. Note that the engine block is the LS6 block, not an LS1 block confirmed by part number. Below is a list of the modifications and accessories that are included in the sale. Sale of the car also includes all of the original stock parts so that each part shown below has a corresponding factory part that was removed. (For example, I have the original 3.42 differential and the DTE 3.90 unit is in the car.) The only exception will be the original fuel rail covers that have been signed for me by Dave Hill and Wil Cooksey. Car has only seen rain a few times on trips such as the Corvette Caravan in 2003 (this was the New England Captain's car) and trips to Carlisle. Car is stored in winter in a Carbag with desiccant to keep it dry and to prevent rust. Seats have been covered each season and are still in new condition. Convertible top is in new condition. Car has Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tires that were installed in June 2017 along with four new GM tire pressure sensors (brakes flushed with fresh fluid while wheels were off). The trunk and waterfall struts were also replaced with new in spring 2017. This is a package sale and I will not separate any of the original low mileage factory parts from the car. Car is turn-key and ready to go. This car was modified as a hobby and has never been raced or taken to the track. Buyer will need to pick up the parts with the car at the time of sale, so bring a truck or trailer. I have a detailed maintenance history in spreadsheet format that will be provided to the new owner.

Car was a factory Z51 car, but of some of the Z51 C5 equipment has been since upgraded. Original sway bars, etc. come with the car. Also have the original VHS video (still wrapped), owners manual, and other items that came from the factory.
