CTS-V being built next week and available.
I have a Black CTS-V that should be on my lot before the 1st of March that is available for sale. The selling price is MSRP of $49995.00.
DETROIT, MI, Sept. 17, 2003 - Cadillac today announced pricing for its all-new 2004 CTS-V high-performance luxury sedan. The CTS-V will arrive in dealerships beginning in January priced at $49,995, including destination and delivery.
CTS-V is the first in the new V-Series line of Cadillac luxury performance vehicles and features a 400 horsepower 5.7-liter V8, six-speed manual transmission, large Brembo performance brakes at all four corners, 18-inch wheels and tires, retuned shock absorbers and a host of interior and exterior styling refinements.
Like the original CTS, CTS-V was refined and validated at Germany's famed Nurburgring to meet the expectations of the world's most avid driving enthusiasts.
"V-Series will take Cadillac's performance credibility to an entirely new level," said Jay Spenchian, Cadillac V-Series marketing director. "As the first in a series of high-performance luxury vehicles, CTS-V proves we are serious about winning over a new generation of luxury performance car enthusiasts."
2004 Cadillac CTS-V standard features:
Four-door, rear-wheel drive
5.7-liter overhead valve LS6 V8 with 400 horsepower and 395 lbs.-ft torque
0-60 in 4.6 seconds
Tremec T56 Manual Six-Speed Transmission
Goodyear Eagle F1 245/45 run-flat tires and 18 by 8.5-inch wheels
Large four-piston Brembo brakes with vented rotors
Performance-tuned shocks, springs and stabilizer bars
Near 50/50 weight distribution
Dual chrome oval exhaust tips
Distinctive V-Series badging
Stabilitrak with four driver-selected modes of operation, including a mode for better track performance
Stainless steel mesh grilles, both below and above the bumper provide a unique front appearance and permits free air-flow into the engine compartment
All-new aero rocker design that flows into a new, specific rear fascia
Tower-to-tower cross car brace has been installed for improved steering response and linearity under high-performance conditions
To help reduce under-hood noise, a unique nylon cover, which features the Cadillac wreath and crest and V-Series logo, is fitted over the top of the engine
Driver and passenger seats include adjustable lumbar and suede insert material to help maintain driver position in lateral maneuvers
Center armrest has been lowered significantly for easier shifting
All-new instrument cluster featuring performance-oriented displays
All engineering work for the CTS-V was performed by the GM Performance Division, an in-house center designed to explore potential enthusiast-oriented versions of production models.
CTS-V will be produced at GM's Lansing Grand River assembly center, the award-winning manufacturing site for the CTS, SRX luxury utility and future STS luxury sedan.:)

The CTS-V has the Z06 LS6 eng. and trannie in it. It is a world class sports sedan with 0 to 60 times of 4.6 sec. It would make a great familey car for any Corvette person.:)

I just wanted to tell everyone that I picked up my CTS V today from Rick. What an awsome car. Power, ride, speed, a four door corvette. This car is a blast to drive, and it is a real head turner. I would like to thank Rick and all the people at Les Standford Cadillac for a great buying experience. Anyone looking for a new car needs to see Rick, he is a man of his word.

Congrats! I tried to call Rick today but he was busy delivering your car! I'm hopefully joining the ranks of new Vette owners on Monday when I see him! :hurray:

Congrats on the new purchase!
CTS-V owners have been reporting significant wheel hop on the CTS-V forum.
http://cadillacforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1
I assume this is under hard acceleration.
Could possible be when wheel spin occurs.
Have you experienced this?
I would really appreciated if you could post your "review" of the car and your ongoing experience with the "V" here like some of the other owners are doing on the CTS-V forum.
Let us know when you get that beast sideways. =)

Re: CTS-V being built next week and available. (Michael Tucker)
I have no idea on that. They are only building approx. 3000 of them so I would not think any time soon.
I do have one more available for delivery this month.:)
