Yes, you read that right...a 2001 Z06 with only 4 miles on it. What is a fair asking price to sell this brand new vehicle? I'm asking for my boss, he's selling it to the dealership for $29K and I think he's not getting what it is truly worth. I know selling it on your own takes time, but I think the dealership is getting an excellent deal. Comments?

With the C6's being out, the 2001 being the elast powerful Z06, it being 5 model years old, and with all the hype about the new C6 Zo6, I think he is wise to trade it in now and get $29K.....Once you start seeing more C6's out there and a couple of new Z06's, the C5 market will fall another 5% or so I bet....You will be able to get 02 Zo6's with 15,000 miles for high 20's in about 9 months...

Personally I'll give him $29,200 for it.

He can get 30-32 for that car no problem in a couple of months. I've had (3) recent offers of 28k for the same car with 9,800 miles on it. Unless the guy can't use an extra 3k, I'd suggest he sit tight and advertize the car. This forum is fantastic for learning, making connections and selling accessories. It is NOT good for selling our car at a market price. We (I am guilty too) on this forum are notorious for trying to "steal" cars.

Sit tight and be patient for Spring.

Now you know your asking the TIGHTEST ***** from any site here about a price for a Corvette.. LOL.. wrong question here. Everyone wants a steal.

Now no one has ask but what color is this 01 Z? if its a Speedway White and with the two tone colored interior it could bring more money. No mileage.. heck i might be interested if its Speedway White.

So fill us in on more details.

thanks

I dont care what all of you say about new C6 ZO6s coming out and the 01 version being only 385hp.....this is a brand new car we are talking about. It has not even been driven once. Personally I think you are getting ripped off by selling it to a dealer for $29K. The dealer is going to turn around and resell for mid $30Ks. Your boss is better off going with a private party sale. He should be able to pick up 32-33 grand for that car in a private deal. Good luck

why'd he buy the car in the first place ? just so he could say he has one. it's not like it's a mint condition 53 or something

29k is not bad, but I'm sure he could get 30k on the forum here if he's ready to sell...

List more info...

The dealer won't get mid-30k for it...maybe 32-33k. I've seen 03's with under 1k for under 35k...
