Default 7psi for Stock LS1 Bottom
I am also new to Corvettes and this site. I'm looking at a 2000 C5 for a weekend driver. I've read a lot and am considering a Procharger running at 7psi. Can a stock LS1 run this without any problems?

That would be fine with a P1 and a good tune. Sure you would have no problems. Do it right the first time and go with an ECS bracket kit.

That's a safe boost level. The Vortech kit for the LS1 comes pullied for 7.5psi. Welcome and enjoy the ride!

you're golden, just be careful pushing it past 9-10 psi on stock bottom
