Default Which gears???

Greetings,

Which gears are you SC owners running?

I am going to add an A&A P1SC to my 99 C5 within the next 12 months. I want gears. Am used to 4.11's on my N/A cammed, LT'd, '97 WS.6 and am dying to upgrade on my C5.

What gears are you running? 4.10? 3.90? 3.73? 3.42?

THANKS!

I've got Dynotech 3.73's in mine. I can't imagine needing any more low end than that. I have an aluminum flywheel also, so it revs up right now.

Stick with the 3.42's... best all around gear for FI IMHO.

I have 3.73s and like them. I would either use those or 3.42s.

I put 3:73's in my car. If had to do over I would go with the 3:42's

I run 3.73's with mag and 450tq @wheels at 2400 rpm. It's a wonderful gear and I think the perfect FI gear. I just switched to drag radials on the street and have seen a phenomenal inscrease to grip. Before running them I would have said 3.42.

I serisouly think it depends upon the tire you intend to run.

I have a 408 with a F1R and 4.10's. I got the gears long before I thought I would ever do a blower or two motors and two blowers. I actually loved them with my 348 and D1 but now with the 408 and F1R it is pretty stupid. When I brake the rear end or have some extra cash around I will go with 3.73's.
