Are you forging the bottom-end?
Based on recommendations from ECS, A&A, EPP, and SW I decided to go with the LPE GT2-3 cam. Actually several of the above tuners recommended the 02+ Z06 cam, but the LPE cam is basically the same with a little more lift.
For heads I found a good buy on some worked over LS1 heads (CNC'd and larger CC's).
I would also very much consider 6L heads or AFR's.
