Does anyone have pics or instructions for this procedure? I would like to know as well. . .
1. What tools are required?
2. Instructions for the non mechanically inclined. . .
Thanks,

If Andy sends me a kit for free I would be more than happy to do a full blown bolt by bolt, tie by tie, pipe by pipe very detailed full of pics how to.

I also would be VERY interested in knowing how. Are there any tricks? It looks like I would have to pretty much totally disassemble the brackets to be able to change the belt.

Melting Slicks
To change belt on A&A bracket (10-20minutes)
- With old belt on, remove 24mm alternator pulley with impact wrench (I use a cordless).
- Undo the five 9/16" bolts holding the blower, unclamp the inlet and outlet hoses, pull unit partially out.
- Remove belt, wrap new belt around idler above tensioner and drivers' side of tensioner. Thread belt around other pulleys, then remaining blower pulleys.
- Fasten five bolts on blower bracket, reattach hoses.
- Place (thick shank) phillips screwdriver through alternator pulley, wrap belt around pulley, put nose of screwdriver in the end of the alternator pulley. Lever pulley onto shaft with screwdriver while pulling pulley onto shaft. Use impact wrench to tighten nut on alternator shaft.
- Remove 5/8" blower pulley bolt with impact wrench
- Edit: Forgot this one: Remove alternator pulley as above
- Remove top four 9/16" blower bracket bolts
- Loosen bottom 9/16" bracket bolt
- Remove blower pulley

Here's another tip. Put a 5/8" wrench on the blower pulley. While you're trying to put the alternator pulley on or pulling the belt over the alternator pulley, turn the blower pulley counterclockwise. With the belt being held tight, turning the blower pulley will retract the tensioner and make the belt easier to install.

I have changed belts a few times and figured out a way to do it with only unbolting the tensioner! 1. Put car up on ramps so you can get under front area. 2. You must first cut the old belt and remove. 3. Remove the two tensioner bolts and tensioner. 4. Work new belt with the help of a prybar (using tensioner opening) past A & A bracket and balancer (Be gentle). (If Andy's bracket was machined for belt clearance on balancer side, prybar would not be needed to flex bracket away from balancer to clear 1/2 thickness of belt) 5. Using long screw drivers work belt around all pulleys. (It will fit if turned sidways!) Easy step to remember, belt comes down off blower pulley and goes "under" water pump on one side and over "top" of idler #1 on the other side, everything else falls into place. 6. Put tensioner back in holding belt to one side. 7. Put one tensioner bolt in and do not tighten it all the way. 8. Using whatever is easyest (Prybar etc.) swing tenioner back to line up the other bolt hole and start 2nd bolt by hand to insure the threads start correctly. (THIS IS THE HARDEST PART OF THE PROCESS!) On my car there is no tensioner play at all! 9. Tighten the two tensioner bolts and go have a beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(This process does work I have done it at the drag strip in my trailer!)
Good Luck

What I do is I take the bolts out that holds the blower to the brackets, then I push the blower towarsd the drivers side and take the belt off the headunit pulley. I then get under the car and remove the belt. Next I put the new belt on and push the headunit to the drivers side and slip the new belt over the blower pulley. Then you can pull the headunit towards the passenger side and slip the bolts in. They will be crooked but as you tighten them up it will straighten out and take the slack out of the belt. Takes 5 min by myself.

depends on what bracket design you have, things have probably changed in the last 10 years... I would suggest checking the pulley alignment to find the root cause of why the belt shredded rather than just putting a new belt on and let it roll... pulleys could be out of alignment, bad idler bearings, etc... also get in touch with a&a to find out which bracket design you have and they can give you some good tips

Any significant advice or issues with using a firm mount A/C tension pulley?
I forget the company that makes it. I bought it last Winter though and it has yet to hit the car... ... ...

It might be a little different to change the belt since 2005.

Yes, I realize the thread is 10 yrs old, which is why I asked.
I was hoping I could unbolt the alternator pulley but it looks like I have the star design like mentioned above so I cant do that. Ill have to start loosening stuff up.
