What size gears are you all running?
I was going to go with a DTE 4.10 with a 100 shot on an almost stock motor with a built m6 trans.
Would that be too much gear with a 100 shot?
This is a weekend warrior car and sometimes I take it on long trips.

depends on what size tire and what you plan to trap in the 1/4. With 4:10 gears + 26" slick @ 6000 RPM = 113.20 MPH
conversely a 3:42 gear (stock) + 26" slick @ 6000 RPM = 135.70 MPH
you can play with your desired RPM and tire sizes to get you through the 1/4 at the top of 4th gear.
