Default LAPD Now Taking Orders for APS' C5 Twin-Turbo Kit...Install Introductory Pricing!!!

Dear Corvetteforum.com C5/Z06 Members,

LAPD is now taking orders for APS' C5 Twin-Turbo kit and we are offering introductory pricing to the first few C5/Z06 owners that would like us to install their APS kits for them.

As you all know, LAPD has installed more APS C6 Twin-Turbo kits over anyone else and APS has notified us to let us know that kits will start shipping shortly and all orders must be received to us no later than December 15 as APS is shutting down for a month starting December 18so if you have been thinking of this mod, now is the time to act especially with the discounted pricing we are offering.

Give us a call and ask for Al for detailed pricing and info!

Thanks!

Shawn

what is installed price for a 2005 C6 auto. What fuel upgrades do you do, and what kind of tuning software do you use?

StreetRacingGuy,

Please call us and ask for Al. He will give you forum member pricing. He has worked out package pricing for the C6.

For the C6, we install the Magnavolt boost-a-pump as that is all that is required for fuel system requirements.

We use HPTuners.

CraZee ZO6,

Sure, no problem!

Doug at LAPD is a VERY, VERY good tuner. My car runs like a stock Z06, until you stand on it, and it slaps you in the face with an extra 300hp.

For a person who does not drag race and is mechanically quite sympathetic in their driving style (me), could this turbo kit be used in combination with the stock clutch and no other drivetrain mods for an reasonable period under low boost? I would assume low boost to be around 5-6 psi, but am not sure what the wastegate spring would allow.

I'm quite familiar with turbocharged cars due to my tenure with Toyota Supras, but the idea of having a large displacement motor with boost is just extraordinary (in a good way!). Also, how much weight does this kit add to the C5 Z06, after installation and removal of the stock parts? Even an estimate of the weight would be fine. Thank you!

The APS C5TT kit looks like a winner, especially at LAPD's introductory offer. I am in discussions with LAPD to see what is involved with adapting the APS to my 427ci and if feasible, I will probably proceed. I was very impressed with the APS C6TT kits that LAPD installed and feel confident they have the process down pat.

I have seen several of the APS C6TT installs that LAPD has done. They are first rate....the attention to detail is what seperates LAPD from other shops in the area. We have all heard the horror stories of cars leaving other shops with the cam bolts loose, control arms not properly tightened, loose wires not tied up....etc. LAPD does a complete review of your car before it leaves the shop....and they do a complete detail...inside and out!

Their tuner is simply the best...Doug tuned my car with HPTuner and it has performed flawlessly for the last 5 mnths. I can start it up in cold weather and immediately drive away..... street manners are incredible considering there is 850rwhp on tap. .

This new APS C5TT package it a great value and knowing that LAPD has intalled more APS kits than anyone will give you the peace of mind that your car is in good hands. Give Al a call and you will see what great customer service is all about.

Hi Guys, I've been busy over the last few weeks putting the finsihing touches to the C5 twin intercooled twin turbo system install instructions. These C5 install intructions should be completed over the next week and then I will post up a link for you guys to browse. I'm sure the instructions will be real handy for the guys contemplating a self install. In the interim, here's a link to the C6 twin turbo instructions so you guys get an idea of how comprehensive the instructions will be for the C5.

http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/co...tall_guide.htm

The C5 twin turbo systems will start shiping in approx 15 days time and for the guys on the west coast I highly recommend the guys at LAPD for install and tuning. The LAPD guys have completed a good number of C6 twin turbo installs and the customer satisfaction rate is 100% so well done to LAPD for providing a high level of customer service, quality installs and thorough dyno tuning.
