As you can see from my signature, I have a Magnuson supercharger on the car. I'm looking at what else I can do (while being street legal), and I'm considering the cam possibilities. I must admit that I don't know much about those. I understand that there are blower cams, which are designed to prevent the superchargers from leaking boost.
What kind of choices do I have, here? I am not necessarily looking for something extreme...probably something right in the middle.
We have a few cams that we use. We have both a cam that we designed for a centrifigal supercharger and one for a positive displacement supercharger (ie. Maggie). Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions at all..

Chris, is the Centrifugal blower cam 918 spring friendly, and how much is it?
I have a 6+ year old cam installed that was put in with my original heads/cam package. Recently I had a Procharger installed on top of that package. I am going to have a blower cam installed but I am at or near the limit that a stock bottom end can handle. Will the new cam push me over the breaking point or will it just be more efficient to my FI setup? Of course Carmen @ The Vette Docs can and will answer this question but I do value some of the opinions on the forum as well.

Hey Spencer, I would hold off untill you are ready to forge the engine. I would just enjoy the car the way it is and then when you are ready to turn up the boost you can go to a blower friendly cam.

Thanks for the heads up Chris. I was just thinking that it made sense to do it while I am upgrading my oil pump and timing chain. I guess that I'll have to talk it over with Carmen.
