IAT Relocate...Wiring Questions
Ok, I have already used the search function as well as going to ls1tech. I am wanting to relocate my IAT after the maf and the alky nozzle. I have an 03 zo6 with the IAT integrated into the unit. I have the IAT sensor and the wiring pigtail from a few part numbers that I was able to find on the net. My main questions are as follows:
1. Can somone post a picture of what wires need to be used from the maf itself and what color are they on a 03 z06?
2. Do I just cut the 2 wires off at the connecotor and attach them to to sensor?
3. Is there any orientation that wires need to go in? Is one a ground?
4. Does anyone have a link or something with a how to?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Contrary to the maggie instructions, but according to my factory manual, cut the tan wire and also the purple wire (maggie says black w/white)
It works with either the black/w or purple, but the actual wires are tan and purple.
No polarity, so just hook your 2 wires to those 2.
You do have to cut the tan wire though, or the MAF IAT will still be sending a signal. You could just splice into the purple wire and leave it going to the maf...your decision
Same car , same year....
