Default Help diagnose driveline failure

I was running my car last weekend, and side stepped the clutch in second to heat the tires, but when I did it locked in second gear. I turned the car off and was able to shift again, but the car will not hold power. It feels like the clutch is slipping, but I can't make it slip when trying to do a burnout. It does however feel like something is slipping when I hammer it going down the road. Could it be something other than the clutch, like the rear end or something. Any help would be appreciated before I remove the clutch.
