What size pulley?
'03Z, stock longblock, A&A P1 with a 4.3" pulley giving me 7#, 585/480. I'm going to add a restrictor plate and pulley down to get more mid range. Doug suggested a 4.00". Reichard is out of the 4" and won't have any made for 2-3 weeks. They have 4.10" an 3.90".
Which do you suggest? Or, does anyone have a 4.00" they are not using?

3.7" man!
I went with the 3.7" then went to a 3.2"!
Since you will be using a restrictor plate you can pulley down and control it there
Man I used to have the 3.7" on the shelf then I sold it I would of gave it to you
Thanks,Matt

Thanks Matt. I appreciate the thought.
Anyone else have experience with restrictor plates. Specifically, pulley size and plate size effect on boost?

Hi Dave. I have been asking similar questions about the restrictor plate effect on boost. It depends on the type of plate since these are put together by the tuners and don't seem to be mass market items. Many people of the board have built their own. 1 to 1.5psi drop is what I was working off of.
I think the crank pulley on the LS6 is smaller than the LS1 so you would make 14lbs with Matts 3.7. A 4.0 is about a 10psi on your engine. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ghlight=pulley
Maybe EvlZ06 has a spare 4.0.
