I have a Cerra kit which is similar. You just need a dropped rad support and the filter pipe will just go over the rad for lots of room. This kit is nicer then mine.

So this kit isnt a complete bolt in kit?

You will need this kit+a rad drop support ?

wonder how much rad drop support costs and where you can get them. i wonder if the a and a or ECS filter setup would work too since the vortech is really close to the radiator

Andy at A&A sells them cheap. $40 bucks or so. Just some aluminum spacers and longer bolts.

IS fuel rail covers and coils can be at original location or it will be too much heat from turbo and its down pipe will melt them? i like to retain coils and FRC's in place where its now.

Dominic: any fabrication to be needed when u installed A&A intercooler.

I have a Dewitt radiator so will it fit or had to switched to stock OEM radiator.

Hi Tony! :

Thanks for the info!

I liked the Cerra system, it made some good power, especially on a forged motor with that GT76 on it!

That's not as big of an issue as it sounds. All of the centi kits (before A&A) had to lay down the radiator. It's just so that the intake for the blower/turbo has room over the radiator.

I don't know about the blanket, but the tank is extra. I've pm'ed Hinson about this before and here's what they said. It's extra.

The Be Cool tank is $119.99. A 6x14 heat blanket is $29.87. That would be enough to cover the exhaust housing."

Yeah I was just assuming it was a COMPLETE kit Laying the rad down is easy .

Is anyone else concerned about the heat that this thing is gonna put out under that hood ?

The blankets seem to well for the Halltech / PTK style top mounts so it should be a lot better with this system since most of the hot piping actually is dumped under the motor and not on top like the other top mount kits.

Dropping the radiator shouldn't be that bad. I was hoping that they (I) could tweak the mount to lower the turbo mount some.

Looks like a very clean setup. Now lets see what it can do with a forged 347 and a T76 under the hood...

Few questions

1.) as asked before - how does the air filter attach, looked very tight

2.) whats max hp outa the 62 and the t76 u offer for a upgrade on your system and does the 76 require the brace on hood to be cut?

3.) Will you offer a driver side header to match passenger?

with the rad drop support and only being about a $40 mod and not being too hard from what im being told, the filter issue shouldnt really be an issue

the t62 is underrated at 650hp and the t76 is underrated at 950hp. from my understanding of reading the site, the brace does need to be notched out

a matching driver side manifold would also be nice

hope that helps out

Earl H had the same setup that you're talking about and put down 750 to the wheels!

Im wanting to try it but would want to change/Add a few things such as:

-Use the ECS FMIC and rad drop support
-and the Intake ducting would would to be something other than plastic
-Definantly need the heat blanket

I think the T76 has a lot of power in it when its matched with a forged 347

i know the air to water intercooler has to be pretty efficient and its a very compact design to minimize the length of charge pipes. but im really wondering y they chose to go with air to water instead of an a and a or ecs style intercooler

also the spooling of that t76 would be insanely loud too, thats a reason i want it lol. im gonna have to pull the trigger on this kit and very soon too

If I did buy it I would ABSOLUTLY go for the ECS intercooler.

Yes, I think it would be loud too I really like the idea that its different, but being so new, its a risk.
