The Grond Chronicles : The Final Chapter
For all of you that have followed my C5 modifications exploits over the past 4 years, I thank you.
For the newer members that may not know what "Grond" is, I would refer you to this website for some background threads. http://grond.tv
The Grond Chronicles are coming to a close; the final chapter has been written.
Since becoming a full time Tuner over 2 years ago, time is something I no longer have. We work 7 days a week and we're booked solid out to mid May with lots of long term projects.
Unfortunately, the flipside of our success is I have zero time to dedicate to my own personal project car, Grond.
As a result, I will be parting Grond out over the next few months. All of the unique, cool and interesting mods will be up for sale - the dual rear transmission coolers, the custom ratchet shifter, the backlit cluster, the Tigershark frontend, the shaved doors, the ECS Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger, the 8 rib system, the RPM Level V A4 transmission and so on.
Again, thank you all for your support and encouragement over the years - and stay tuned. I will probably start a new project once things settle down a bit, business wise. Of course, it will be published here first on the Corvette Forum.
Thanks
Stephen

Bittersweet to hear that Stephen. Ive had Jason do some work on mine a while back before you and him teamed up. Im sure yall are booming and will continue to do so. Best of luck getting the parts sold and with the business endeavors as well. You will be in another one sooner than later I would imagine

I'm Sorry to hear that you have no time for Grond, but I'm Happy for you that your business is doing well!
You'll be back, with what I'm sure will be something as interesting as Grond was!

Well i have followed it for quite some time and enjoyed every step, so i am sorry to hear it go!
Now I think I will do this:
1st dibbs on the A4 Tranny - I will be certainly interested in it since I am still with the stock '98 A4 in mine (Which is doing pretty dang good, but who knows when it will want to voluntarily retire )
So with that said I want 1st Dibbs on the Tranny
Let me know please
Thanks,Matt

I do not have any prices on parts yet - still not sure how to even begin to inventory the $140,000 I've spent on this car, not including the purchase cost.
The blower has less than 600 miles on it, the RPM 4L60E has less than 1500 miles. Same with the built drivetrain etc.
Just no time, sadly - Grond looks the same as it did 2 years ago...

What?
What?
You're willing to have Grond remembered here forever as a tease that took your money and never delivered?
Good gawd man, finish her, abuse her some, and then move on, like a real man.
