LS3 heads

This may be a stupid question but I am going to ask anyway. I have sold my old Lq9 403 to a guy and he needs heads for it. The question is can we do L92 heads setup on it and be able to use the LG headers he has? Are the exhaust ports in same location I guess is what I am asking. I know the heads need a minimum 4 inch bore but will it work?

I run L92 LS3 heads with a LS7 block. Dynotech 1 3/4 headers fit although we did port match. The LS3 heads will not fit with the LS1 or LS6 intake to my knowledge you need to use the L76 or LS3 intake. The part of the thread that throughs me off is I forget what the LQ9 block is, is that the iron 6 lt block similur to the alum LS2 block?
