I was wondering the same. I'd like to get the A&A D1 setup. I have a bone-stock LS6 with 28K on it. I want to make about 500 to the ground. I plan to get some headers and x-pipe. Anyone know what kind of boost I should run to achieve this?

I'm at 480rwhp with an LS1 and 8psi. You'll pass 550 EASY with your better heads, cam, and intake. -jealous-

Is that safe? From what I understand, the pistons and wrist pins are the weak link. I was told by a few friends that at 550 on LS1s you're no longer reliable and 500 on LS6s you're no longer reliable.

Your motor could blow up at 450hp.

The tune plays a huge, huge part.

That's true. I was looking at that WCMC supercharger deal. I know really good tuners here in my area that are spot on will all tunes I've seen. I've never heard of one of their cars blowing up. (knock on wood) But in this deal, WCMC tunes the car and it's a little scary handing the car off to someone I've never heard anything about for a FI tune. Although, they seem to really know what they're doing... Anyone use them before for this?

I haven't so I cant' help you there.

I had Orange County Corvettes do my s/c install and tune 2 1/2 years ago. Outside of losing an idler pulley 6 months ago, the car's run like a raped ape. Though I did have them put in an extra safe tune for longevity.

I'm at 122k miles right now so you give me hope she'll hang together a little bit longer.
