Thank you, yea this has been a goal for a while now. Not just stock short block. Entire stock LS6 is untouched.

Stock valve springs and Rockers? Nice launch and shifting! What rpm are you shifting at?

I'm sure some of the CF sponsors carry it. I'd check with them first. At the time, I needed one quick so I ordered it direct. Cost should be the same everywhere (or, even better from sponsors).

That's awesome Dave! I don't know which I enjoyed more. Your singing videos or your racing video!

Ok, took me a while to figure that one out. I assume you searched for clemsondave on youtube. The singer is definitely not me! I've been known to play a little Rockband, but that's as far as it goes.

After I watched your video here, it shows a string of "related" videos. That was one of them due to the name.

I remember the 10.85. Didn't think I would ever get there! Then Chris popped a 10.27 and I bout gave up. Somehow I went from at 10.5 to 10.19 in one day. I knew then 9s were within reach. There's more in it as the DA was good but not magical.

I'm riding it about 20'. Throttle control is the tough part. I gotta be out of the clutch when the boost kicks in. Prolly similar to your hit.

As far as wear on the clutch. Going by when I pulled it out last month, I'd bet I could get 100-125 launches out of it easy. I had about 25 passes on it and there was zero dust. I've got a pic if you want to see it.

thanks matt. last dyno was in 80* temps and it was 651/540.

Thanks everyone!

I dont believe it...prove it...post the pics

Damn this was a good time.... just visting old times and it was magical to watch this run in person.

I cant remember besides the wheels was there any weight reduction? I see you still visit the site and I dont think you sold this car yet. Miss the good ole days of you mixing it up with us in the c5 performance section!

I still check in every now and then. Things definitely are not the same around here. You seem to actually be nice these days.

Car is for sale. Don't really want to do it, but I have driven it less than 200 miles in 1.5 years. Someone else should enjoy it.

Hey Dave I wondered where you went. Hate to see you go, but you're smart to quit while you're ahead.

Yea, it seemed like a good time to quit. Zero broken parts, no mods that made it any less street-able and never really pushed it beyond what I thought was safe.

Feel pretty proud of what was accomplished. I did back it up another time down here at VMP where I was usually slower. Also hit 140mph.

FP, weight reduction included a smaller battery, no sway bar, removed some of the stereo equipment. Buy it and get your 9 sec slip!

Glad to see ya'll are keeping it going!
