The HP lines are are almost exactly the same.

Don't see the Maggie dropping off on the top end like I've heard a lot of guys say.
Yeah but what centri guy do you know, is going to not be giving his car some revs when he goes for it? Like a turbo guy he's not an idiot. We just pick an appropriate gear.

Vega$vette: What boost are you running with? Any other mods in your car than Maggie?

It wasn't a contest just a comparison.

With an A4 not as easy to keep the revs up in the power band. With a 6 speed not a problem for most.

A little more then just the Novi

Very nice ride
When I had the Maggie I was making 505 RWHP, I bolted on the novi and made 620 something with the same setup only adding the Novi, Yes I have made some changes since but that is what I wanted and I was able to do this with my new setup and blower, The Maggie was not able to do this. If you like the Maggie great it is a great setup for the street and some shows but not for me, Everyone has different plans for there car so it's great we have so many options. Good luck.

This is another case of building the car to do what you want it to do. Knowing that the Centri needed to be in the 2500rpm range, I installed a 2800rpm stall. I have absolutely no problem keeping it in the power band. I also have a shift kit in my RPM built transmission that allows me to choose my gear, if I want to, and reliably outshift you M6 guys. Your mods have to compliment each other!

Just to get the graph right which I attached to my previous post:

Vega$vette: What boost did you run when making the dyno chart? Any other mods besides Maggie?

I have a 708 rwhp boosted centri coupe for the street and 397 rwhp C5Z for roadcouse work, both with suspesion and brake upgrades (look in sig). The NA C5Z will outperform the coupe in 20-25 minute sessions for much less money invested. Build the car to achieve your goal, you don't need big HP to be fast on roadcourse. If you want best of both worlds be prepared to spend extra dollars.

PD blowers will pull timing due to heat soak during 20-25 minute sessions so you will lose some power you paid to gain. Centri car has it's compromises as well. Both are great depending on what you want but neither is BETTER than NA for roadcourse.

Ask this same question in roadrace section for practical answers and less bickering on Centri vs. PD if you are really looking for experienced input on roadcourse and not street/strip.

Centri vs PD vs TT....like religion and politics

Boys.... my car proves that the track and street are 2 different thing.
With 600rwh I've smashed cars with 700, 800 and 900rwh any day of the week and as many times as they like , but at the track Novi's rock!!

Beg to differ.

Maggie can make 620rwhp. Even more if you do things right like Funcool.

Here's his latest dyno, even before his cogged system. It likely makes more now, but it hasn't been dyno'ed yet.

Default more info needed

if you road race your car...all you need is a 402, if you go to the strip, then you just have to decide how much hp you want to make and whats your budget...all of these set ups have their pros and cons.
Try and drive each set up, and try and decide which one you prefer...
and study all the pros and cons verey carefully, so you wll have no
regrets. Best of luck in your choice, either way, it sounds like your
gonna have some fun
