Well, so far no more apparent electrical issues. I let it set for almost a day (easily twice as long as before) and it fired right up. Guessing it was some random thing I didn't notice, but I'm gonna keep an eye on it for a while.

Now it's just a waiting game til TPS gets the supercharger kit from you guys!

Good friend of mine has decided to go with a supercharger kit for the LS1 he's planning on putting in his '82 Camaro, and will be keeping a close eye on what I get outta the setup I'm doing.

When you purchase the system, the T-Trim is $200 extra.

Glad to hear no electrical issues, the supercharger will be up soon.

Do you have any video clips available of the different systems installed on vehicles upon start up?

Trying to hear the sound of the different set ups (V2,V3, si, T, Ysi and blower cams)...

Thanks in advanced for your time..

Default ? Regarding Cold Temperature & Engine Mileage

Am considering a conservative Centri installation, probably A&A and professionally installed and tuned, on a stock 2002 LS1 MN6 with 103.5K miles.

The Vortech website states do not operate below an outside tempoerature of 25 deg F. It gets a lot colder than this here in Idaho and, while I do not drive it a lot in winter, do not want to be forced to not drive at all. Is this restriction correct, and is it typical of all centris?

What checks should be done on the engine at this mileage (a lot of highway miles, never tracked) to make sure it could take the extra stress and what results should I be looking for?

I believe that is because the original vortech kit has a air to water intercooler and andys kit is a air to air, no worries with the temp.

Quick question, 02 Z06 with your YSi kit. 8 rib upgrade. What's the standard size pulley you guys send with that kit?

How much boost will a 3.8 pulley make? And also how much will a 3.6 make?

How much you want for that 3.0? I'm afraid my stock shortblock will puke its guts, but what the hell? The wife said I couldn't build an engine until this one gave up the ghost. But I would like it to survive the entire weekend.

There really is no standard size when you get into the YSi and 8-rib territory.

stupid question, I'm a noob to all this. I'm coming from the land of nitrous. But no standard size? Is that just b/c everyone wants their own size when they order the YSi kits?

That's pretty much it. When you are in YSi territory, the motor builds will be all over the place. So I would say call us with the motor specs and we'll go over pulley sizes.

And that's why I let Brett (XP Racing) pick it all out when he ordered it.

Thanks again Steve. Can't wait until the kit gets here and we get it installed.

Hi,

I have just buy your kit Vortech V-3 Si-Trim/3.4 pullay for C5 (LS1 Z51 MN6 2000) and the HT tuner PRO kit.
I read in your instruction to install that you can send a base file to install in the PCM ( Corvette C5 LS1 Z51 MN6 2000 ).

Andy said me by mail that you can send me by mail but i havent receive it.

Could you send me ? (i give you me email by MP)

Thanks !
