Ok. Do you want a pic of the setup while it's attached or detached from the car?

No Vortech shaft is different size than Procharger shaft.

Default 3.4 v3 power question

Installing your kit with a v3 head unit. I have a 3.4 and 3.6 pulley for it
Mods are as follows
Comp cam 54-444-11 cam
Melrose headers with cats and high flow cat backs
Comp cams valve spring and hardened push rods
373 rear end gears
Stage 3 auto trans
Tune by HP performance

Is this pulley a good fit and thoughts on performance
I still need to order parts from you to finish the kit

With all those mods a 3.6" might still make too much power for your current fuel system. Not sure what year vette you have, but you also need to ask the Tuner how much power they are comfortable making if you are just on pump gas only. 3.8" pulley would be a safer choice and still make great power with your mods listed.

I dont remember what kit I have, will have to look.
I went with a 3.4 pulley after adding headers. Kept my boost at 10lbs.
But... I think I just blew my rings. 60k on engine, under 5k supercharged.

So staying with a 3.6 might be safer.

I always like to have meth to keep stock pistons happy. But you will need to confirm with your Tuner if he likes to use it. With a '98 and a LPE pump I usually see guys able to feed 525-550rwhp and past that might need a BAP added. Something to discuss with the Tuner and see what his experience has been.

I have a procharger with an A&A bracket. I have one of the pulleys making noise and would like to replace them all. Can I get those from you guys or can you point me in the right direction?

I posted a thread but forgot about this sticky.... I have a V2 si trim currently on 3.4 pulley stock balancer. I want to do a 10% over driven balancer with 3.4 pulley. What would the impellar rpm be with that setup at 6800 rpm I normally shift at 6500 but rev limiter is a touch higher. Also how much is that overspun and what is vortechs rated max rpm?

Thanks
Robert

The 3.4" with stock balancer and 6800 rpm puts it right at the max impeller speed of 52k rpm.

If you add a 10% OD balancer that will bump it to 57k rpm and be 5k over-spun.

Okay thanks. I was dead on then with what I had found out. Have you guys seen any failures from a 5k rpm overspin? That will be rare I will typically shift at 6500 which won't spin it quite that high but I think this will make a really nice power curve in the mid/high range areas.

If you go for it make sure you have a big BOV like a 50mm or 52mm installed to avoid any compressor surge or kick-back on high rpm shifts.

I have an Alky Control kit to swap my snow for and a Tial 50 mm BOV. Plus twin 340 LPH intank. I should be good to go.

Thanks Josh I appreciate the help and quick responses.
