Does the rear cover fit over the nitrous bottle?
Maybe its just the way I did my setup, but the top cover won't fit. I cut some 1 inch plywood to fit in the bottom portion of the rear center compartment. I covered it with carpet, and mounted the nx express 10ib bottle to it with the remote bottle opener.
Since the mounting brackets are angled, the top of the bottle and remote bottle opener won't allow the cover to fit.
Does your's fit? If so, how'd you do it? Got any pics?

Mine does not, missed by about an inch due to the blow down tube. I'm sure it could with a little work. If you don't tilt the bottle, it easily would.

Does the bottle have to be tilted?

Tilting the bottle will put the internal feed tube closer to the rear of the bottle as it sits sideways. This will keep any surging down to a minimum...if you are experiencing that condition.
I've got my setup to where the cover fits over the bottle but I'm only using the small NOS mount and some plywood...no remote opener either.

1" is too thick of a board. Go with 1/2 or smaller. Then you can bend the mounting brackets out a little to lower the bottle even more. Then it should fit.

1 inch mounting plate is to thick. I used 1/4 inch copper metal plate. Also make sure and spread out the bottle mounts. To close will have bottle sitting up to high. No need to bend any brackets on my install, cover fits perfect, it can be done

You can take the valve off(only after the bottle is empty!) and break loose the siphon tube to reposition it. Its held in with locktite. Just put locktite on the tube and shove it back in the bottom of the valve. Just remember what position its in when you put the valve back on. You can orient your bottle however way you want so long as the bottom of the tube is at the bottom of the bottle and to the rear.
